So it turns out I have a free bet. Took my own advice and have taken New England (-1), Texans (+3) and Giants (-2.5) to cover the spread. Have also added Raiders to cover the spread since the Ravens have spent the whole week on the road (+6) and Lions straight up @$2.10. I have picked the Raiders to win in my pick em but to cover I am going with the spread on that, same with the Texans.

Shame the Panthers will win by 15 :-X

They are going to go all out to stop Olsen and I wouldn't be surprised if they have Watt spy and destroy Cam. They played a lot better when they benched Hoyer last week as well. Their QB situation is still awful, but can still score with Hopkins at WR.

I had picked the Bills before I went back and read the stats about the Pats on the road on artificial turf. Add in the fact Shady isn't healthy and might not be his explosive self. I would still start him in FF leagues, but he might not go off like he would if he was 100% and they need a big game from Shady. I think that pick could be the riskiest of the lot when all things are considered.

Yeah the Pats pick is the riskiest of the lot by a mile - I'm not confident. I think we'll struggle to move the ball, but in saying that, I think the Bills might as well especially with Shady banged up.

I know the Bills have a pretty good D, but it is going to be tough to stop Gronk. I don't think the Pats will be able to run the ball very well, but if Gronk can get a score or two it's going to make it tough. If Shady was 100% I would probably have stuck with the Bills, he is going to cause so many headaches for that defense.

JJ Watt is listed as the 3rd TE for the Panthers today. Dude is going to score TD's on both sides of the ball!!!
