haha I've watched some games before and it's good. I can even name two players :P Tom Brady and Marshawn Lynch ;)

If I had to pick between attack and defence, it would be defence.

Skittle Monster is a fun dude to watch, on and off the field.

There are only a few elite defenses in the league but there are quite a few which are in rebuild mode to compete.

Do you think you will enjoy watching a guy that drops back and surveys the field before passing or more of a running QB?
Someone that waits and finds the pass, those guys look like they have all day when they have the ball. Bit like Pendles does in the afl :D

And it gets even more hilarious... 4 of the Colts balls were under-inflated too ::)

The league comes out with a report that concludes 'more probable than not' and wants to suspend dudes!? Are they a new kind of stupid?

They say that possibly â€" possibly â€" Brady was aware of the deflating. The reality is if you can't prove he did it, then he's innocent, and lay off him. End of story.
I completely hate the situation and the fact that the backlash has been so harsh over a few 'maybe's, 'probable's and 'sufficient's. Some of the shower that comes out of jealousy is simply astounding
Amen. "It is more probable than not that Brady was generally aware." If you want to punish a guy based on no actual evidence and just on the fact that there's a chance he was aware, this league is a joke.

The league is just trying to save it's own ass. After all this, and 4 months of research they'd look like idiots to have created all this controversy only to find out it was all for nothing.
I literally laughed at that quote and how ambiguous it is
Without a doubt. Classic Goodell, makes one mistake and covers it up with a bunch of other badly thought out mistakes.

Already off the Kap train?

History of success, little to no success or recent success?

He's still one of my favourite QBs alongside Ax, Luck, Cook, Hackenberg etc and I'll support whoever we have, but if I could have a choice I'd always take a pocket passer. They just work a lot better.

No success. But give me the teams that fit the defense bill and I will make my mind up from there :)

Or I might just watch a few games and find a bloke I like and follow them :P

Jags, St Louis, Minnesota or any AFC North team. I legit think it could be fun watching the Jags develop into a nice defensive team, they're already pretty well coached on that end and have a good plan that is slowly starting to unravel. Other two clubs a fair bit more proven.

Jay

The report says that the refs only had time to measure four of the Colts balls during half time, yet claim that the 140 seconds in which our equipment manager took the balls into the bathroom was sufficient enough time to deflate 11 out of 12 balls ???

The whole report is full of so many holes, I wouldn't even wipe my a$$ with it.

I'll give you a list of teams to watch that people won't call you a bandwagon fan

I would try and watch these games in the first two weeks, or at least the highlights and I will give you a bit of a summary on each team

Week 1

Chiefs vs Texans

The Chiefs have the makings of a really good D with outside rushers in Houston and Hali. They were a bit weak in the secondary but they looked to improve that. Their coach is Andy Reid, he looks like a Walrus and makes some brain fart decisions that make you think what the F. They just picked up Maclin who Reid used to coach in Philly, they didn't have a WR that caught a TD last year so it is a pretty big move. They have Charles as a RB and he is a beast and a serviceable QB in Smith who can go for an odd run but is a pocket passer. They also have 0 success since the late 60's

Texans were an expansion team, they have the best defensive player in the league (JJ Watt) who turns what would be a mediocre to below average D into borderline elite. They have a great RB in Foster, a young WR in Hopkins, picked up a good WR with injury problems in Shorts but their QB situation is a joke. They have also had 0 success.

Colts vs Bills

Colts have a terrible D so they might not be the team for you but they have the best young QB in the league in Luck. They have also had recent success so they are out, but they bombed when Peyton got injured and Luck has lead them to the playoffs since his rookie year.

Bills are an interesting team. They had a great up and coming D last year and went out and got one of the best defensive coaches in the league in Rex Ryan. Ryan defenses have traditionally been smash mouth but he has changed the scheme from a 4/3 (4 down linemen and 3 linebackers) to 3/4 which can take some adjusting as you need different pieces. They still have the talent so you would expect them to kill teams in that department. They also acquired Shady McCoy who is my fav player in the league. He is amazing to watch as he can turn nothing into a huge TD run. Watkins is going to be a beast at WR but their QB situation is also a joke. They have not had any success since the early 90's and even then they didn't win a Super Bowl.

Rams vs Hawks

Rams are another interesting team. The whole NFC West is a defensive football conference (although one team in particular has a few holes at the moment) so you will get your smash mouth football in this game. Fisher is developing a really stout defense and this off season they have gone out and got some pieces for the offensive side of the ball. They drafted Gurley who could be the best RB in the league in a couple of years and grabbed Foles who is a great young QB that I wasn't happy we traded. The only issue with the Rams is the O-Line who haven't been great.

Forget about the Hawks. They were in the SB last year before winning it the year before. They do have Lynch play for them but the success is a cross. It will be a good game to watch though since it is a rivalry game.

Cards vs Saints

Cards have been a horrid franchise for a long time but have built an elite D to put them in contention. They are another NFC West team so it is Defense based football. They need Palmer to stay healthy at QB because they were signing guys off the street last year to play in the playoffs. Palmer is a pocket passer and you do have the weapons in Floyd and Fitz

Saints won a SB  quite a few years back and are about to start a rebuild due to poor cap management. They just traded away arguably their best player in Jimmy Graham. They still have Brees who had a bad year last season but is an elite QB. The other Ryan brother Rob might get that D playing at an elite level but I doubt it.

Lions vs Chargers

The Lions statistically had one of the best defensive groups in the league last year. They last their anchor in the middle in Suh to free agency but they were a pretty deep rotation. It will be interesting to see how it hurts them. They do have a decent offensive unit with Stafford at QB although he has never put it all together and Calvin 'Megatron' Johnson at WR. Megatron has been looked at as the best WR in recent years although the mantle looks to have been passed on due to his injuries. In terms of success, nada

The Chargers are more an offensive side but they have some good pieces on both sides of the ball. Success has also been zero but they are a fun team to watch.

Ravens vs Broncos

Both teams have had success recently either making or winning the SB but I think it might be worth watching the Ravens. Broncos will be on the decline since Peyton is finishing up

Eagles vs Falcons

This one is my team

Philly's offseason has been nothing short of interesting. Chip Kelly is their current head coach and took over from Andy Reid a couple of years ago. Since he has been coach, he has implemented an offense which is not about winning time of possession but trying to run a specific amount of plays per game. He flat out cut their best WR last year, fought to get full power of the team and when he did traded the teams leading rusher in the entire history of the team for a LB'er coming off an ACL from his old college team, traded the starting QB for another teams QB coming off an ACL and let his other big name WR walk while cutting other vets without a real back up plan. To make matters funnier, he has signed a bunch of guys from that former college team. Anyway after all that, they have tried to rebuild the defense and the offense can be explosive to watch. It will always be entertaining in Philly both on and off the field. In terms of success, they made the NFL version of the prelim 4 times, made the SB once under their old coach but they struggled in Reid's last couple of seasons hence the Chip signing.

The Falcons have not really had any success other then a few division wins, they have some good offensive players with Jones and White out wide and Matty Ice at QB. Ryan is a pocket passer so he fits the style of QB you like. The D has been crap, but they just signed Quinn to be their coach. He was the defensive coordinator of the Seahawks so he might be able to turn that around

Week 2 - most of those teams I have already written something up on but it will be good to watch them play twice

Broncos vs Chiefs

Panthers vs Texans

Panthers were an expansion team and have made 1 SB in that time losing the game. They had a really good defense 2 years ago but were in the worst division in football last year. Their QB is Cam who is more of a runner.

Saints vs Bucs

Bucs are horrible, Lovie Smith should have walked in and had the pieces to build a good defense but it just didn't work out. They have some weapons to catch the ball in Evans and Jackson and now have a rookie QB in Winston. Being in the worst division in the league they could bounce back this year.

Cards vs Bears

Bears look to be a basket case. They fired their coach, traded their best leader in Marshall and still have a lot of holes. They haven't had much success since the 80's when their teams were beastly. They did make a SB in the mid 2000's but their QB was the worst to have ever played in a SB in Rex Grossman

Bills vs Pats

Pats won the SB, forget them, it is more a chance to watch the Bills again in a rivalry game.

Bengals vs Chargers

Bengals could be a good choice. Their D has been hit and miss but it was more miss due to injuries, they aren't  team people pay a lot of attention too but they have the makings of an exciting side. The Ginger Ninja Andy Dalton at QB seems to be the big weakness. They have Green at WR, Gio and Hill at RB, they have some serious baller potential with this crew

Rams vs Skins

Skins are a basket case and have none of what you want, pass, more of a chance to watch the Rams twice

Dolphins vs Jags

Dolphins picked up Suh to add to their D, not sure exactly how they will look this year but they might be worth a watch. Jags are pretty terrible even though Gus Bradley is a defensive minded coach. It might be worth checking out just to see how the Dolphins go.

Eagles vs Cowboys

Cowgirls are the Collingwood of the NFL, they also still like to talk about their success from 20 years ago like it still matters. This will be a big rivalry game and you get a chance to check out the Eagles again.

Packers vs Seahawks

Both teams have been successful in recent years but this should be the game of the week and must watch. Rodgers is the best offensive player in the league and he takes on possibly the best defense.

Here's the money quote from Brady's agent: "...it may be more probable than not that the league cooperated with the Colts in perpetrating a sting operation."

Not holding back :o and fair enough!

If I'm Brady, I'm suing for defamation of character.
