Denver didn't have a good QB last year and still won a SuperBowl. They'll be fine.

They also keep losing players to FA.
Defence will still be elite enough to keep them competitive though.

Mat0369

Not if they keep losing defensive starters to FA.

Really like the Osweiler signing for Houston.

Agree and disagree - Osweiler is obviously talented and Houston have been in desperate need of a QB for a few years so really needed to pursue the best on the market in Brock, but 18mil a season and 37mil in guarantees is an awful lot of cash to throw at a guy who has 300 career attempts and 7 starts.

Also Lamar Miller is a nice pick-up, Texans could really threaten if Brock hits his potential - maybe even making Luck vs Osweiler our new favourite twice-a-season rivalry?

Jay

A superstar QB wasn't just going to fall into Houston's lap, so they had to take a risk and Brock has the potential. Lot of money but if he ends up being a top 8 or so QB, then that's definitely worth it.

Will be good to see Luck with finally another competitive team in his division.

Hey, Elway: a QB who went 7-4 as a starter for you, won the division and a playoff game IS available. Huge star in Denver. Guy named Tebow.

Great call

Like the Hogan signing for the pats. Good receiver who's been criminally underused by two other AFC East teams, can play in the slot or on the outside - has the speed and size for both. $4mil a year isn't that much too - he's a better player than the much higher paid FA WRs this season (Sanu, Kearse, Matthews, Jones...). Definitely has potential to be a 1000-yard receiver.

Also, hopefully we can pick up Laurinaitis, Larsen, and Johnny Football. Hopefully.

Denver

Sanchize currently sits at the top of their depth chart, cause you know, he can take them to the AFC Championship game with an elite Defense.

Was talking to a mate who's a chargers fan and came to the conclusion that their defence could end up being one of the best in a year or two.

- Have young stars in Ingram and Verrett
- Signed Heyward, Lowery and Mebane, and
- Have a top 5 pick to get a Bosa/DeForest, DE is a glaring need

If guys like Perryman, Attaochu and Te'o can develop into good starters, then that's a really solid core

Shame their O Line gets decimated by injuries every year

Jukes

Shame they chose to not retain the second best safety (when fit) in the league as well.

(Before y'all ask, Harrison Smith is #1)

There was so much bad blood that he would never come back.

D-Mac better cover safety than Smith. He's the reason Butler and Ryan were competent this year.

Loved Jones as a Pat (when he wasn't high), but this is a good trade. Get help on the O-line, Cooper was graded very highly by the Pats on draft night - will be interesting to see how he develops under Scarnecchia.

Already have lots of depth at DE and Jones was going to command a big price tag next off-season.

Jukes

Cooper is actually a flowering horrible lineman sorry, the second round pick is far more valuable than that bust. Pick 61 could pick up some decent help on defence like Kyler Fackrell, Tyler Makatevich (both absolute gems), Shilique Calhoun, Nick Vigil, or Zack Sanchez, or a running back like Alex Collins, CJ Prosise, or Kenneth Dixon.

I'm fairly confident that each of those defensive guys will turn out a better player than Jones, most should be available at 61.

Per @AdamSchefter, Patriots are acquiring TE Martellus Bennett from Bears for draft-pick compensation.

:D :D :D best Pats off-season in a while!

Was wondering if anyone saw this. Only been like 2 years Bears have been wanting to get Bennett out for haha
