Because of how elusive he is he rarely takes big hits. Turf toe isn't exactly career threatening. I laugh at all the people saying it is Chips system that made him good when he played for Fat Man and ran for 17 TD's, the most of his career, in an Andy Reid offense.

as a division rival im thrilled no mo shady, as an NFL fan in general i cant see the sense in it, Alonso just came off an achilles ???

159 tackles, 2 sacks, 4 picks and an FF in his rookie season, was the best defensive rookie of 2013. Had 22 tackles in one game, he's a bona fide stud linebacker when fit, like Urlacher mixed with Levy.

dude tore an achilles, look at the history of pro athletes surpassing their best form after an achilles...

It was an ACL not an achillies but it is also the 2nd major knee injury he has had. He also injured his knee in college and missed the entire 2010 season

I would say he has one more season before we see the steep decline that you generally do in RB's. He is a bruiser so he will have the extra wear and tear but I guess those couple of seasons in Buffalo where they refused to use him might help
