not much love for Danger ?

Been my m5 all preseason.
New coach should have him off the bottom of packs a little and getting some outside ball.
I think Sanderson used him poorly. Top ten player in the afl and think we will remind people this year.

Simple, Sloan has replaced him. He's no longer numero uno.  But still good enough to seriously consider at M5.

He's a gun, I'm considering him. But I think people are avoiding him due to the contract situation.

If I'm being honest I haven't considered him purely because he lost FWD status, and I guess my mind sees that as a negative making him not worthy, although it shouldn't  :-[

I have considered him but the safe play is not to start him IMO. To me he is an Upgrade target if he puts the contract situation behind him, keeps his banged up body in shape during the season and plays well.

Personally would take Sloane over Danger but neither likely to be in my starting side.

If I was going to take a cheaper/riskier option at M5, then it would be him. However, I don't wanna flower around with the mids, so going with guys I am very confident will be top 5 or 10 for the season, and Danger doesn't make the cut.

I totally agree, if he still had fwd/mid status he would been 1 of the 1st picked for me, same as last year

Had him as m5 from the start and will easily go 110, great value for money, can not go wrong

I'm risking it. If it comes off it's a serious step towards a top ranking. He won't go below 105 I wouldn't think so he's a safe bet in those regards.

Waiting to see his role this season and his attitude to it. He is good enough to go top 6. and I for one will be watching him very closely with a view to a trade in after Rd. 11.     :)

Contract talks don't phase me too much. If anything, it should motivate him even more to perform to drive up his price

At 567k, he has 2 seasons of premo/elite scoring, and rarely ever misses a game

It's between Danger & Griff for M5 now that I've decided to go with Gaz, much will depend on rookies given the 30k difference could be critical. One thing about Danger is he never misses matches, remarkable considering his crash & bash style. Think he can nudge 110 this year and I don't subscribe to the contract issues hampering his season, quite the opposite as I suspect he'll want to maximise his worth.

Yeh for those considering Danger i wouldn't worry about the contract talks, he'll certainly want to maximise his value regardless of wether he goes or stays. I'd be a little stunned if he didn't have a better year this year than last tbh.
