With Libba's season over is Jackson MacraE now a lock for SC?

I certainly think so.  Had a 130 in the NAB opener and will certainly be the go to man through the midfield.

Looks like a set and forget M4/5.

Thoughts?

No Griffen and No Libba means he cops the number 1 tag every week I would have thought

Teams wont bother tagging Boyd the butcher, so I think Macrae gets all the attention now

Teams don't tag in the NAB, so I wouldn't get too excited about the 130

You'd expect guys like Dahl and Bontempelli would now be more likely to increase their scoring outputs

Agreed. Macrae was closer to a lock prior to Libba's injury. Way too risky to pick him now.

Raptorbalz

Dalhouse and Bontempelli will improve but would you select them based on the situation?
Not too keen on their potential as a premium mid. Will see what happens next week for more data.
No Cooney, No Griff and No Libba.  The doggies are up against it this season.
New mid rookies will be good though.

Dayze

It was a 50/50 on the Libba macrae tag.
Now it's 100% going to macrae. Makes him an even less appealing pick

Ricochet

If your looking to benefit from the Libba injury then need to look at who will get more midfield time, or which fringe rookies will now move to more permanent roles. I'd stay away from Macrae

If he plays Biggs could be the one to keep an eye on, especially at his price.

Macrae is more of an outside player. Libba is an in and under.

AaronKirk

I'd be ditching Macrae like the plague now that Libba is out.

He will cop a tag every week in a side which will struggle this season. No thanks.

Raptorbalz

Looks like a unanimous decision on Jack Mac.  Thanks for the feedback lads.

I'd be backing him to step up and increase his scoring output further. Kids a gun
