Got him in my team only in the last few days. Could be a massive pod, only question is will no Beams positively or negatively effect him?? Thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Greenwood comes in to replace Beams. Pendles still gets the #1 tag.

Only main thing to consider is that when he got suspended, he spent that month off doing another mini preseason and came back super fit. He averaged 122 from that point.

Greenwood ain't Beams though.

Yep spot on, Greenwood doesn't even come close. I meant more of a structural point of view

PiPies

Will still get plenty of ball. I haven't looked at the stats but I'm a pies fan and watch most games and from what I see his disposal can be a bit suspect at times and costs him a few SC points. If he can clean up his usage he will gain a few more points. Looks like a decent POD with plenty of room for improvement.

honza

Great player considering where they stuck his arse

RaisyDaisy

Greenwood is overrated

Pendles, Swan and Sidebottom are the engine room now. Everyone else who runs through the Coll midfield is just giving these 3 support and a chop out

Sidebottom is class, but think he will fall just short of being elite, prob around the 105-110 for me, so a great M7-8. Just not sure if I would actually start him though. Maybe see if he drops in price and get him later

Grufflez

i think if you are taking only 2 big dogs in Gaz and Rocky, Sidebum is a really good pick but not if you have Pendles as well.
Steele is only 23 remember plenty of room to grow as the Pies rely more on him.

Gigantor

Not this year, want to see how he goes without beams but if he can hold his average around 108-113 he could be a handy r13 upgrade

You'd have to have at least one of Pendles and Ablett, if not both. I also think that Barlow and JPK are slightly better picks than Sidey, so there's 3-4 players I'd be starting ahead of him with the same bye. Throw in Fyfe if you have the funds/faith in his body. Makes him tough to pick, but I still think he'll be top 10 and a nice POD.

Swan doesn't have the tank to spend a lot of time in the middle with a rotation cap. He will play forward often and Greenwood will spend a lot of time in the guts. Swan will play through the middle but he won't be a key cog playing huge amounts of time through there

I have also had Sidebottom in my team since SC opened, his back end to last year was insane and he still won't get a lot of attention with Pendles in the side.

eaglesman

Must admit watching the game I thought lets go see how much he is
$608k!!!!

Got to be joking - no hope for my team

Grufflez

Dunno about that Eagles, think he is in for another good year its just that bye round & i reckon Beams gone means he will continue to step up.

Each to their own mate ... Might be an ok pick but just not one I will be considering at all
Around that price I would much prefer kennedy Sloane Barlow Priddis ward

Was shocked to see him priced $580k+

Kennedy and Sloane averaged more then Sidebottom, but they are also priced slightly higher. The other 3 all averaged less (Barlow and Ward might have injury scores in there) but at the end of the day he had a really good average last season and averaged 122 after his suspension. He is starting to come into his prime so I think he boosts that average this season
