Hey man, very interesting first team. I'll go through each line.

Backs: Think Malceski over-performed last year, and should drop 50k+ at the Suns, and would be a good upgrade target. Think Simpson is a better choice to start with. Like the Smith and Shaw picks. May need to find some cash for a better D5, as there doesn't seem to be many defence rookies that seem set to play at the moment.

Mids: Gotta have Ablett. Is Kelly James or Josh? Either way, I'd downgrade him to a rookie, such as Freeman, Use the cash to upgrade Gibson to Ablett. Beams could be a great POD, however he's likely to cop the number 1 tag at Brisbane now, and is a bit of an unknown as to how he'll perform. Someone like JPK could be a better option. Love Sloane. Steven I think can definitely get to about a 105 average, although not sure if he's worth it. Go with your gut there. Maybe drop Hartung to Vandenburg or Lambert as well.

Rucks: Looks good, I'm ok with Bellchambers at R2, some aren't though. I'd keep them as is.

Fwds: Not a big fan of Ryder to start with, mainly because he's kind of an unknown moving to Port. Would probably turn him into one of Dusty, Goddard, Buddy, or a cheaper option in Mitchell. Love GUNston, although don't think he'll go much higher than 90ish, perhaps pushing for 95. If you have cash left over, perhaps upgrade him to one of the others I just mentioned before.

DEF: Not bad choices here. Will be hard to nail down this line until we see what (if any) rookies are playing. Would only think about maybe changing Ibbotson. Think there are better mid priced players than him.
MIDS: Upgrade Gibson to premo, downgrade Kelly and hartung to rookies, I know hartung is but can get similar players for less. Better to pick cheaper playing rookies. Heeney may be injured.
RUCKS: Probably better to have 2 premo playing rucks. If you want belly, put him in fwd as ruck cover and downgrade Nankervis to cox.
FWDS: I wouldn't have ryder can get a lot better players in there lids/goddard etc with better scoring potential. Not sure about saad either, try to fit in salem or someone similar.
