Ben Reid played in the VFL on the weekend and he'll play in the backline and kill any scoring potential that N. Brown may have mistakenly stumbled upon in meaningless matches.

That's possible, but then Reid will just get injured again shortly after returning anyway, probably while running through the cheer squads banner  :P

Watch a Collingwood replay, he runs around it!

Be careful jumping on Neale, and off Ibbo or Clancee. Too many of our boys missing to take anything from the game.

I feel bad saying this as I hate people jumping on and off players game to game but I really don't know about Karnezis!

He teases every year, but I think as far as prospects go, he's honestly shown that he's probably one of the better forward rookie options.

So guys from the nab cup so far. Which rookies do you think are a chance to line up rd 1?

NAB 3 is how I am going to judge Clancee at least. It should be a relatively full squad and he can score well, it will just depend on his role and my team structure. If there are some cheaper options that bob I will probably go down that route first but I still prefer him to guys like Macmillan

really hard to say at this stage... a lot of players being rested over first 2 nab cup games. So players are doing better than what they would say if they had the full time mids around them. I reckon this weeks games will give us a clearer indication.

Having said that but, i think Cockatoo looks a shoe in. Lambert should scrape in. Newtons a good chance. Freeman a good chance. The rest but could be close to that 20-25 mark of ranked players for first game so gonna be interesting!

I'm tipping McIntosh will be in everyone's team come round 1. Looks to have taken Morris' spot in the tiger's backline and shows a bit of run.
