Clancee looked good for a 270k defender. Into my calculations.

Shhhhh delete that haha.  ;)

Hahaha. I had him in for a few weeks now but i reckon he will be selected by many others now.

His JS and Ross are my only worries, is he in their best 22.

Posted in another thread but these are just my thoughts on Clancee mate

I would have him in my 22 every day of the week. He has an elite kick and is a natural ball magnet.
Reality is that is more like 18-25 in our side. Meaning he could be in and out, or cop vests.

When he scored premo numbers a few years ago, he had the freedom through the midfield to do so.
Now, his role does can weekly and does get a few lock down jobs

Yesterday he was impressive but Fyfe, Ibbotson, DPearce and Crowley have to come back into that side, which will reshuffle quite a few boys.

Ross has said Ibbo and Fyfe should play next week, I would also assume DPearce would come back in. So keep an eye on Clancee next week and see what his role is

One thing he has got going for him atm is that Ross loves a good story and rewards boys that put the extra effort in. Clancee has already done that a few years ago (after being sent back to the wafl). last year he dropped the ball a bit in terms of his fitness again (had quite a few off field issues personally) but he came back to preseason a lot fitter after doing a lot of work away from the club. So should be back in favour

Certainly deserves to be on the watchlist, but will need to see more of him in our stronger lineup

Cheers Rico, summed it up perfectly mate. He fits well and his price is ideal for me and the team i have at the minute. There is a couple of other options around that price. Even if he is best 22 Ross can still flower up with his role as you stated so will be watching pretty close. ;)

Well anyone else like myself thinking about having Luey at R2 might have to rethink that don't know what TOG he had but he hardly touched it  :(

Bellcho is cheaper and Nankervis might be a cheap ruck option for cover if Tippett has a setback early in the season

After looking at his fixture vs Belly and factoring in a few other things I got rid of him a month ago and haven't even considered him since

What is peoples thoughts on who will fill Malceski's position?
Rohan was barely sighted but Jetta, Shaw and Rampe all did a bit

I would not be hanging my hat on Belly playing the start of the season just yet

Jetta and Rohan keep getting talked up as the two, but in all honesty I wouldn't be surprised if no one replaces him, and they instead have several players sharing and rotating through that position

Jetta and Rohan with McVeigh makes the most sense to me

That's fine - I have Belly in the forwards, not ruck :)

Rohan was sighted butchering the ball

No need to type out the second half of that statement - everyone knows it automatically comes with the first half :P
