Had Vandenberg and Hogan in my side before the game started. They won't be going anywhere.

Found room to squeeze in the very impressive Newton by taking the not so impressive Salem out.

Lumumba was good and has to be considered.

C Pearce was good but I think MacMillan appears to be a better option at around the same price. I think they will score similarly but Pearce is on the fringe of Freo's best 22 while MacMillan is firmly in the Roo's best 22.

I'm ben_020285 and that's my take.

A lot of good reports about Newton, but I didn't see the game. The AFL has him listed as 51 AFL fantasy (seems similar), but with 86% TOG and 53.8% disposal efficiency. Those are terrible stats, so I'd just like to double check with someone who watched the match that he didn't come back on later or something?

Yeah the TOG stat is definitely wrong. He left the field late in the 2nd quarter after receiving a knock to the head and was then subbed and didn't come back on. The disposal efficiency stat is correct though. He scored 55 SC in less than half a game and looked very impressive. I'm almost certain he will play round 1 unless he is woeful in one or both of the Dees next NAB games.

Clancee looked good for a 270k defender. Into my calculations.

Shhhhh delete that haha.  ;)

Hahaha. I had him in for a few weeks now but i reckon he will be selected by many others now.

Michael johnson as a POD

Coming off knee problems during the pre-season. Was OK but need to see a bit more to start him this year. Started him last year and worked out well until he got injured.

Good to see some more back and mid players come into contention  :)

Yeh man in the middle of the season. Suffered from his back towards the end of the season and then had off season surgery on it

sammy123

He needs to be watched a bit more but will be a good POD if he stays on the park. His D/E is aleays good. He's a SC player not a DT

His JS and Ross are my only worries, is he in their best 22.
