For those that are unaware here is the official list of AFL injuries. A lot of TBC and Geelongs really tell yo a lot.

Clay Smith is the interesting one for me as I had him as a smokey in mids,

Hahahahaha who on Earth took over down at the Cattery?

Interesting that Scharenberg is listed as being out 'indefinitely', even though he's been training fully?

"While the Swans have a relatively healthy list heading into the NAB Challenge, the club has also been forced to hold back prized youngster Isaac Heeney with knee tendinitis."

Article from Swans Website from last friday. Heeny is not listed on the AFL lists though.

Clay's been injured for a while. They won't rush him back.

Tendonitis is an inflammatory condition. Besides anti inflammatory medications the treatment is rest. On any given day though he could probably play out a game. It depends whether it's worth it, and a pre season game isn't worth it.

The longer term issue is that he will be rested throughout the year, guaranteed.

As well as trying to fight for/hold a spot in one of the leagues top 3 teams again, is not an easy task......He will get games, how many and how many in succession is the question.
