Rico,
thank you for giving all this advice.  May I please impose on you for your thoughts on my team?

OK, I reckon this might be about right now.  Please let me know what you think

Defenders:
Shaw, Gibson, Newnes, Lumumba, C. Pearce, B. Goodes  (McIntosh, Saad)

Mids:
GAJ, Pendles, Fyfe, D. Beams, Neale, Cripps, Anderson, Heeney  (VanDenBerg, Ellis-Yeoman, Miller)

Rucks:
Goldy, Belly (O'Bien)

Forwards:
Gray, D. Martin, Bennell, Salem, Clark, Hogan  (Steele, Lambert)

$60K left
No worries at all maygs.

DEF: Great structure here. 2 top-end premos, 2 bottom end premos and 2 midpricers is perfect. Its a little stronger than a few others with GOodes at D6, but thats certainly not a bad thing.

MIDS: 4 top end premos are perfect here. Be careful with Neale, at his price he needs to average 105 to make you 100k and even then you'll need to upgrade him. I would prefer Steven I think who has gone 110 before. Rookies are fine at this stage but be careful with Miller, when Jaeger and GAJ come back into the side he may get pushed out. Also Anderson is a sub risk. Consider Newton, NVB, Cockatoo

RUCKS Personally I'm not a fan of Belly at R2 unless you have decent cover at R3. Most will have belly in the fwd line to give cover to both lines. Goldy is a ripper pick though.

FWDS Strong premo picks. I'd strongly consider Swan though, he's a lock at that pice. As for your rookies, Steele is unlikely to be named after missing NAB3 and Lambert is named as an emergency for the Tigers game. Consider Lamb and Karnezis

Rico I whould like any comments mate.

Def: K.Simpson,S.Burgoyne,B.Smith,B.Goodes,C.Marchbank,J.Hamling (H.Goddard,A.Saad)

Mid:S.Pendelebury,J.Selwood,M.Barlow,R.Griffen,A.Swallow,N.Van Berlo,B.Newton,P.Cripps (I.Heeney,T.Dumont,T.Miller)

Ruc:W.Minsow,T.Bellchambers (R.O'brain)

FWD:R.Gray,B.Deledio,B.Goddard,D.Swan,P.McCartin,M.Clark(J.Hogan,K.Lambart)

What do u think mate.
DEF: One too many rookies here mate. Most will go with only one rookie at D6, some will go with Goodes at D6. 1 is fine, but you need to upgrade Marchbank here.  Premos are fine and Goodes is great value

MIDS: Like the structure here mate, 5 premos and 3 rookies is perfect. Top end picks are fine and both Griff and Swallow could be great value. I'm not completely sold on both but back yourself in. For your rookies I'd look at replacing Dumon and Miller with 2 of vandenberg, Cockatoo, Ellis-Yolmen.

RUCKS: I like the Minson POD and we should know more about whether Belly will be there RD1 tonight after the hearing. I think you need to keep some cash on hand for your R3. Just in case only expensive rookies are named RD1 (if any at all) and you can upgrade O'brien. Ruck cover is very important in my eyes

FWD: Very strong mate. And I think this is where we can find some cash to strengthen that backline. Gray, Lids, Goddard and Swan are all ripper picks, but maybe look to downgrade Goddard. Just the uncertainty of the ASADA case and who it will affect around him. We don't know how he scores playing with a bunch of replacements. As for your rookies I'd also consider Karnezis, Salem, Lamb.

Sup Ricco again I want to show you the changes I made to my team and If its better

DEF:K.Simpson,S.Burgoyne,S.Broddie,C.Pearce,B.Goodes,B.Smedts (H.Goddard,A.Saad)

MID:S.Pendelebury,J.Selwood,M.Barlow,R.Griffen,A.Swallow,N.Van Berlo,B.Newton,P.Cripps (I,Henney,A.Vandernberg,C.Ellis-Yolmen)

RUC: W.Minsow,T.Bellchambers (S.Durdin)

FWD:R.Gray,B.Deledio,D.Swan,C.Manye,C.Salem,P.Karneziz,(J.Hogan,T.Lamb

CASH LEFT: $17,500

What should I do now, bro!
Hey man lets see. I don't mind the defence upgrades, you could probably go Smedts down to NBrown though. Yep Mid rookies are perfect now. OK not so keen on Mayne, I don't see him becoming a keeper. How about Tom Mitchell instead?? Fwd rookies are perfect, also consider Lambert though

Whats up Ricco, hows your day going.

DEF:K.Simpson,S.Burgoyne,S.Broddie,C.Pearce,B.Goodes,N.Brown(H.Goddard,A.Saad)

MID:S.Pendelebury,J.Selwood,M.Barlow,R.Griffen,A.Swallow,N.Van Berlo,B.Newton,P.Cripps (I,Henney,eA.Vandernberg,C.Ellis-Yolmen)

RUC: S.Mumford,T.Bellchambers (M.Cox)

FWD:R.Gray,B.Deledio,D.Swan,T.Mitchell,C.Salem,P.Karneziz,(J.Hogan,T.Lamb)

CASH LEFT: $10,500

Rico I have M.Cox as my backup because I don't believe you need a good back up Ruck men and with M.Cox i'm going to do the captain loop (if you know what that is)
Hahaha yeh I know what it is man

Fair enough mate, back yourself in without the cover. I like those changes mate

I think this is pretty standard but after fixing up my backline I've got:

DEF: K. Simpson, H. Shaw, J.Newnes, G. Ibbotson, B. Goodes, A. Saad, K.
McIntosh, H. Goddard

MID: G. Ablett, N. Fyfe, J. Selwood, P. Dangerfield, R. Griffen, P. Cripps, I.
Heeney, C. Ellis Yolmen, J. Anderson, T. Miller, N. Krakouer

RUCK: I. Maric, W. Minson, R. O'Brien

FWDS: R. Gray, D. Martin, D. Swan, T. Bellchambers, C. Salem, J. Hogan, M.
Clark, K. Lambert

Bank: $10,800

Cheers
Hey Stormzors, I like this size. The structure is perfect, as are the premo picks. In terms of rookies..

DEF consider NBrown for JS reasons, over Goddard. Goddard won't be named
MIDS Be careful with Miller, he may be pushed out with the return of GAJ and Jaeger. Kraks also needs to be upgraded and Anderson is a sub risk. Consider Newton, NVB, Cockatoo, vandenBerg.
FWDS: Lambert hasn't been named for the Tigers. Consider Lonie and Karnezis

It is the same question I asked in the x v y thread with a tad more context

Gray + Goldy v Nic Nat + Fyye

If I choose option 2 my premo mids will be Ablett, Pendlebury, Fyfe, Selwood, JPK and Rucks will be Nic Nat + TBC

compared with

Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, JPK and Gray with Goldy + TBC rucks,

Is 4 round 12 premo mids a problem?
Ok so initially I said NicNat and Fyfe. I'd still lean that way mate. I don't think 4 premo mids from that bye will be a problem as long as your other lines aren't stacked with that bye too? We have an extra mid bench which will help and we have trades through that period too

I am still undecided on between playing either cripps or newton and also unsure whether to pick sam mitchell or shaw
Wait to see if Cripps is the sub tomorrow night mate. If he is then swap him to Newton.

Who are you trading out if you bring in SMitchell?

Sidebottom or Priddis

I know it's Riccos advice thread but go the Sidearse.

Appreciate any advice you may have on my final side Ricco...

Def:
Simpson. Shaw. Newnes. Lumumba. Goodes. Saad. (N Brown. McIntosh.)

Mid: Ablett. Fyfe. Jelwood. Ward. Cripps. Cockatoo. Heeney. VDG. (CEY. Miller. Lambert.)

Ruck: Goldy. NicNat. (Read.)

Fwd: Bartel. Dusty. Bennell. Swan. Salem. Clarke. (Hogan. Steele.)

$48,100 remaining.
Can't fault it mate. Keep that cash on hand in case you need a more pricier R3 as cover. And I doubt Steele will play RD1 after missing NAB3. Nice team man

Cheers for the advice Ricco! I Gotta ask to squeeze a little more from you though haha.

I couldn't help but have a slight tinker to see what a 4/5/2/3 Premo structured version of my above side would look like.

Most noticeables - Hibberd for Simpson. Pendles for Bennell. Basically F3 to M5.
My mids feel stronger but feel I've lost some cash generation in dumping Cripps. Fwds a little weaker, not that confident with Salem as F4, I felt F5 is a better spot for him. Hibberd was my original choice pending ASADA outcome.

Love to know your thoughts on it and which is better.....

Def: Shaw. Hibberd. Newnes. Lumumba. Goodes. Saad. (Brown. McIntosh.)

Mid: Ablett. Pendles. Fyfe. Selwood. Ward. Cockatoo. Heeney. VDB. (CEY. Miller. Lambert.)

Ruck: Goldy. Nic Nat. (Read.)

Fwd: Bartel. Dusty. Swan. Salem. Clarke. Hogan. (Lonie. Krakouer.)

$19,700 remaining.
I really like those changes mate. If you can squeeze some more cash somewhere try and get Cripps in if he isn't the sub tomorrow
Also consider Karnezis over Kraks, he hasn't been upgraded yet

Yeh I only see a gap of 10-15 points between Swallow and Wells, but a 20+ pts increase from Rookie up to Bellchambers so thats why i went that way man.

I'd keep the cash on hand to fix up rookies when they are named. Might need to go Miller up to someone else or a fwd rookie up to Salem

After some moving around I came up with this:

Defense: Kade Simpson (CARL) Heath Shaw (GWS) Jack Newnes (STK) Heritier Lumumba (MEL) Brett Goodes (WBD) Nathan Brown (COLL) Kamdyn McIntosh (RICH) Adam Saad (GCS)

Midfield: Gary Ablett (GCS) Scott Pendlebury (COLL) Nat Fyfe (FRE) Dayne Beams (BRIS) Daniel Wells (NTH) Patrick Cripps (CARL) Isaac Heeney (SYD) Aaron Vandenberg (MEL) Cam Ellis-Yolmen (ADE)  Nakia Cockatoo (GEEL) Touk Miller (GCS)

Rucks: Todd Goldstein (NTH) Nic Naitanui (WCE) Mason Cox (COLL)

Forwards: Robbie Gray (PORT) Dustin Martin (RICH) Dane Swan (COLL) Tom Bellchambers (ESS) Christian Salem (MEL) Mitch Clark (GEE) Jesse Hogan (MEL)  Kane Lambert (RICH)

$1,800
22 21 19 available during the bye round.

With Lambert not playing I am in a bit of a hard place now but I might just have to stick with him due to lack of funds now.

Thanks a heap Rico again.
Can I help you in anyway?

Not sure if either will be named mate. But I'd lean towards Daniel being the one that will get a gig
