2 questions:
1. Best MID rookie? I have already got Newton, Cripps, Heeney, Vandenberg, Ellis-Yolmen, and I'm thinking of going with Touk Miller as he seems like he could do well.

2. Best MID for $628k? I'm thinking Beams but also Jordan Lewis as he gives me the extra budget and most likely more cash generation.

I'm pretty settled on my team bellow apart from some rookies tweaks. However, I've read through this thread I'm beginning to warm to the idea of playing Ibbo and in particular Belly. The only issue is how do I make room for Belly.

My Team:

Mid: G.Ablett, S.Pendlebury, J.Selwood, N.Fyfe , R.Griffen, P.Cripps, J.Anderson, C.Ellis-Yolmen (I.Heeney, T.Miller, K.Lambert)
Ruc: T.Goldstein, N.Naitanui (R.O'Brien)
Fwd: L.Franklin, D.Martin, D.Swan, C.Salem, M.Clark, J.Hogan (J.Lonie, T.Lamb)

Cash: $20,000 exactly

I've thought about downgrading Franklin to Belly and then using the cash to upgrade Brown to Ibbo but I'm a little worried about the forward line getting too weak then especially considering Bellys' injury history.

I've also thought about downgrading Shaw to Ibbo and then upgrading Salem to Belly. I'm then just a bit worried about the back line looking too much like mid priced madness and in turn causing me to burn too many trades down there.

Do you have any recommendations to the team or on how to get Belly if ASADA goes through?

And just a quick one: Fyfe vs. JPK? Does the $45k mean that much?

EDIT: I play for league so having ruck backup in case of a ruckman missing a week is not a huge deal for me so I can afford to not have great ruck cover.

Hey Ric, as you know I was running with six premo defenders with Lumumba at D6, I decided to slightly alter my structure a little bit and was wondering if the plan I've got going idea is good one.

I downgraded Malceski to Goodes, figuring that Goodes' potential should be good enough to increase enough to turn him into a Malceski type whose price should drop. Backs are now Shaw, Gibson, Fisher, Adcock, Lumumba, Goodes.

Also still running with the no GAJ thing, the idea is to bring him in ASAP, whenever that may be. With the cash from the Eski/Goodes downgrade, that gave like 554k, so I turned Newton in Jack Steven. So now I've got Priddis, Barlow, Parker, Treloar, Steven as premo mids. Do you think that's fine? Not sure who else to grab in that price range, maybe Griffen, but I've already got Treloar and think Steven represents value for his price. Mids are now the above premos plus Cripps, The Berg, CEY, Touk, Heeney and Lambert.

I'm left with 78.5k, should I hold it? If not, where should I use it?

Hey mate know you're looking for ric's advice but personally I'd go McCarthy to hogan and then Bennell to Bartel , also would look to upgrade Tyson to Dangerfield from the money you had left over as well as down grading McCarthy. Or if you don't like danger or don't want to replace bennell I would look to go Anderson to newton. Also Probably need more strength in the back line as well so you could use the cash there . In my opinion I would go Martin to Goldstein as I'll think he'll play better and will give you some extra cash too.
