Hey Ric mate, thread is getting to legendary status, nice work  ;)

Dumping Gaz has opened another set of options.
Can actually relook at Dangerfield at M5 and drop Deledio for Gray and Harvey.
Make any sense? or risking too much not being able to get Ablett quickly when he hits his straps?
Haha kinda makes sense. So

Original
Ablett + Deledio +  Vlastuin + Hogan + Rich

New
Danger + Gray + Harvey + N. Brown ( on Bench / D6 ) + Selwood

filled in the moves  :-[

Can you go Ablett + Rich to Selwood + Danger mate? I reckon hold onto Lids, or look at DMartin instead of RGray. Just because both these guys can score similar to Gray and have a decent start to the year. Lids is being managed because of an achilles injury but keep an eye on him in NAB3. Its starting to sound like he'll be fine

Thanks Ric. Have DMartin at F4 , Buddy at F3 , Swan at F5 . Going old fashioned strong forward set up. Will keep an eye on Lids.
Thinking Gray and Harvey as PODS at F1 and F2. Too strong probably but won't meet too many sides with this setup early in the season. ...but the backline  :'(

If I could work out how to post the team shot. Will have another go.

Only need 3 fwd rookies is my thinking. May weaken on the no Hogan thing if he fires. Clark looks the part. Lambert and Daniel I like.
Have 6 mid rooks inc V-B, Newton, Vandenberg all on field, Steel, Krak, Saad on Bench with DPP. Keepers are Pendles, Selwood, Kennedy, Sidey, Dangerman
Back Rooks are N.Brown, Dick, Hamling. Mid pricers are Ibbo, Pearce, Jacobs, keepers Harbrow and Lumumba.
Have 5 DPP backs and 5 DPP Fwds for the upgrade shuffles.

The strategy is to be flexible and plan the upgrades this year. Even if it all means No Cloke after 3 seasons.

Very very interesting structuer mate. Not the way I'm going but can see your thoughts behind it.

I'd also consider Karnezis or Lamb as a fwd rookie spot. Can't fault your premo selections in the middle. Keep an eye on CPearce, his role could be quite defensive but we should know more this weekend. Love the Ibbo pick and I've also had my eye on Jacobs. I'll look into Harbrow for you becuase I think he's coming back off an injury and played NEAFL last wkend because of it. I'll double check though

Nope all good on Harbrow. Not sure where I read that. I really like him as a POD pick

Ok, i got Steven but it was at the expense of Nathan Freeman (who i dont really care about) I brought in Ellis-Yolmen, is he a good pick? Also can u take a look at the few changes i've made to my team?

DEF: Simpson, H Shaw, Newnes, Higgins, K Kolodjashnij, A Saad (Maynard, H Goddard)

MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Griffen, A Swallow, Neale, J Steven, Cripps, Heeney (J Anderson, Ellis-Yolmen, K Lambert)

RUC: Goldstein, Maric (Read)

FWD: D Martin, Swan, J Martin, Bellchambers, M Clark, Hogan (Steele, C Daniel)

$10,500 left over

Hey Rico,

2 questions:

1. Fyfe/Hallahan vs Crouch/Neale
2. Crouch v Bennell (M4)

Cheers mate

Woah man that midfield is loaded! think your missing out on too many good rooks there. Mainly NVB and Newton

Fyfe and Hallahan because you get 1 definite top 5 keeper. Although I would prefer Newton/NVB or another rookie over Hallahan.

and Crouch over Bennell. Bennell will cop attention and Crouch just gets in and under and extracts the footy
