Hey guys, really need some help atm. Very uncertain about how my team is shaping up and some of my selected players. Here goes.

Def: Shaw, Hodge, Hibberd, Newnes, Seedsman, Goddard, (Hamling, Maynard)

Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Sloane, Rich, Heeney, Boakhorst, Freeman, (Dumont, Steele, Krakouer)

Ruck: Nic Nat, Leunberger, (Nankervis)

Fwd: Deledio, Goddard, Franklin, Swan, Clark, Hogan, (Daniel, Lambert)

Cheers Lads, feedback greatly appreciated

def: Strong back. Like the pod in hodge.
mid: You'll have to get rid of Heeney as he is injured and won't play early. Maybe rich to nvb? gives you more cash.
ruck: little risky especially when you don't have cover. And you are missing your R3  :P
fwd: Solid fwd

Great start. Few tweaks here and there will may your team look much better :)

No need to be very uncertain. Not a bad team, im not sold on rich. If you want a midpricer I say wells otherwise keep it to guns and rookies but if you like rich and want a midpricer thats fine. Go with what you like.

As said above the only thing I think to be worried about is if leuey goes down or picks up a  niggle because you have no cover. But that's a problem we all will have to deal with by either just hoping it doesnt happen or getting in ryder or tbc for cover.

Hodge doesn't look like being much of a POD this year. SC Gold already has him in 17% of sides.....

PICCOLLO

Very solid.
When you see a team and wonder if its under the salary cap, you know its jam packed with quality

oh boy... Haven't seen him in many sides on here. 17.9%  :o

Hawker_08

After the first week of the nab cup i have made a few changes and narrowed my sides down to two options

Option 1:

Def: Shaw, Hibberd, Birchall, Newnes, Whitecross, Goddard, (Saad, Edwards)

Mid: Ablett, Rockliff, Pendlebury, Barlow, Rich, Anderson, Boakhorst, Freeman, (Dumont, Steele, Krakouer)

Ruck: Nic Nat, Zac Smith, (Read)

Fwd: Goddard, Franklin, Martin, Swan, Clark, Hogan, (Daniel, Lambert)

Option 2:

Def: Shaw, Hibberd, Birchall, Newnes, Higgins, Whitecross, (Goddard, Saad)

Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Barlow, Dangerfield, NVB, Anderson, Boakhorst, (Freeman, Vandenberg, Lambert)

Ruck: Nic Nat, Leunberger, (Read)

Fwd: Goddard, Martin, Swan, Salem, Clark, Hogan, (Karnezis, Daniel)

Cheers lads and let me know your thoughts and ideas on which option is better.

Would rather option 2 mate with the deeper backline as rookies look limited this year, however, I would not get caught up with Shaun Higgins and look elsewhere for d5.

barlowlove

I like the structure of Option 2, but couldn't bring myself to select Higgins in the backline.
If you still like Rich, I'd considering going Option 2 but downgrading Danger to Rich, allowing you to get whoever you like for Higgins, and giving you cash to spare (I'm guessing)

do not like the sidey pick

I actually like the sidey pick as a risky move but one that could pay off big time. Go with your gut, I won't pick him but that's because my structure is different.

Not sure I like relying on H.Goddard on field, we'll see how they go but will he hold a spot, if he even starts round 1?

Anderson looked really good for the Hawkers but will there be space for him round one? I feel like he ans Heeney could be red herrings, future guns but too hard to break into their teams best 22, better off looking at others playing well in clubs which need a change...

Caleb Daniel didn't get a run NAB 1, I don't know if there's any insight into why? But seems risky to pick him based on that...
