The word is that this first game for us is a chance to field some of the younger and newer blokes which looks to be the case.

I'm a little nervous with Hampson as our no.1 ruck for the game vs Minson, but eh.

Also, good to see Chris Knights named.

AFL advises Sam Darley has withdrawn from the Bulldogs' NAB Squad v Richmond at Whitten Oval on Saturday to be replaced by Jordan Kelly.

New coach, new gameplan means we want close to our best team on the park to practice it under real match conditions. Fuller is nowhere near our best team. If you are looking at a Bulldog rookie then Hamling is your man. Won't score heaps but he's likely to play and that's more than can be said about most def rooks.
