It's showing that Hawthorn is minus their backline.
They've got one regular, maybe two?

Stratton and Duryea. Minus Lake, Gibbo, Birchall, Suckles and the rebound of Burger and Hodge.
Well considering the team-sheet both teams have put out the result of this match should be taken with a grain of salt.

I haven't noticed Duryea at all to be honest. Stratton I've seen, but that's because I'm looking for him for the sake of a few XVs teams.

Duryea has been mentioned a fair bit

Geez De Goey is going to be good

On what I've seen tonight he'd be in front of Freeman.

Thoughts?
It may be a bit of a knee-jerk reaction but I reckon it has merit. Still following both very closely. I think De Goey's gonna be a better player than Freeman in the long run though.

I do remember reading somewhere that De Goey and Crisp were both looking good to play Round 1 though.

Big Boy's had a good game, but it doesn't matter when BT isn't commentating.  :P

Totally agree on that point.

I don't want to spend 200k on a 1st year rookie so I'm not considering De Goey but he has merit.

Just not convinced about Freeman on what I've seen tonight and in the intra club.
