I know there's still 5 weeks til rnd 1, but at this point, would you go Karnezis or Daniel? Both should get a few games early, but is the extra $16k worth it? More to ponder going into the season.

My current dilemma too Hoggyz

Dogs and St Kilda are going to get thumped all year, they are more likely to give kids a run more often although the pies won't be far behind this year lol, If Caleb's body is ready for afl (even though he is tiny) i'd pick him.

One of the problems with Karnezis was no engine, perhaps why he does better in less intense NAB cup. Do any Collingwood fans know if he has improved?

Has been one of the top players on the training track this summer. He was in the top 16 in the 3k TTrial and the fact he has had an injury free summer will assist in him increasing his base fitness. His top end fitness is fine but to get e bigger tank  takes time.
Yes he has burnt people in the past and if that is the case then don't pick him.
I for one have seen him train and watched him closely in the intra last week.
If fit he will be in our Rd 1 team.....and mine :-)

I think he finished in the bottom 5 in the time trial.

Yes, I also picked up on the differing commentary on time trial results...

Ah yeah I didn't read that post properly :-X

I was basing my comment on this post that I remembered

Karnezis is not in the pies best 22... Varcoe coming over ruined that for him

He's not in their best 30. If you can't run, you can't play and PK can only beat the rucks in time trials.

Hagebear

Think he has more of a chance then Daniel to be in the best 22 and play more games. Is currently in my side at the moment.
