Buckley has hinted at Karnesis and Keefe playing up fwd this season. Is a lock for our Rd 1 side and is in my team. Too cheap not too at least consider.

someones gotta make way for him... I dont know if hes good enough for a game. Wasnt last year... They have a few betetr rookies to come in before him. Maybe if a few injuries occur!

He was injured last year and never was able to get the fitness up to crack it for a senior game, was nothing to do with ability.

Anyone who's cheap and plays round 1 is fair game

+1, although I am extremely guarded after how he teased and burnt us last year

honza

January training reports had him well toward the pack in time trials.

The issue with karny is .... The other forward options ...
Can't pick karny before salem/Clark/hogan and then he is more expensive than say a Daniel/lambert/krakouer
I am a karny fan

Mr.Craig

Yeah, he's a fair way down the list.

Remember 3 years ago Karnezis shone for Brisbane in the preseason games and then fell off drastically after the first few games. Sure fitness may have had something to do with it and is 3 years older. If named for round 1 and looking for a player to make quick cash then worth the risk but be prepared to possibly trade out early.
Was that 3 years ago, I still have flash backs

I know what you're saying. I have Salem, Clark and Hogan (F5-7) and I wanted Daniel at F8 but I've currently turned him into Karny.

WHY CANT CLARK BE A RUC/FWD

He fell off drastically because he told Brisbane early that season he wanted to be traded.

Was pretty good in the intra club game. Will keep an eye on him but at this stage he is not in my side.

This. Currently don't have room in the salary cap with Salem/Clark/Hogan/Daniel F5-8. Will look at him if named rnd 1.

That was 2 years ago I was referring to the year before.  Fully aware of circumstances for that year.

YoungGun

very hard not to consider, could be a good scorer and if he holds a spot in the 22 has to be close for the next best option after clark hogan and maybe salem. not too sold on salem yet.

as said above, Clark as a fwd/ruck would solve many problems

Wasn't helped by Crazy Vossy though, one bad game and he was sent into exile. I watched a fair bit of him that season and he did some quality work, I think if given a reasonable chance then he's worth a stab. The big difference this year is he's dirt cheap, not an awkward mid pricer.

I know there's still 5 weeks til rnd 1, but at this point, would you go Karnezis or Daniel? Both should get a few games early, but is the extra $16k worth it? More to ponder going into the season.

eaglesman

Not convinced karny gets a game to be honest ... I mentioned karny in December and people were like he is not best 25 best 28 ...

If he starts round 1 somehow I'll get him in

Nothing perrsonal, Pat, but when it comes to Supercoach I find it difficult to "forgive and forget".
