I like to think that most astute fantasy coaches had Swan in their team before this performance.

Even the dumb ones.

Pkbaldy

Same here, he has a lot of question marks for me and a strong intra-club hit out is the first tick. Now for a good performance in the NAB where he plays mainly through the middle and no injury worries and I will lock him in

NAB cup will be interesting, Swan generally plays horrible in the pre season, even in all his 120 plus years. Just the sort of character that hasnt tried till the real thing begins. Maybe has a point to prove this year though, although he has never been the super professional type has always taken pride in performance.

This is what worries me at his age as well

He also doesn't have to have 40 and 3 goals, if he looks good and just has a couple of bursts where he racks up the touches I will count that as a tick

Swan has never looked like someone who is a gun footballer but his record says that he is , apart from an injury plagued last year expect him to get back to scoring well maybe not as good as his best years but good enough for his price , only more injuries will stop that

aussied

with beams now gone think collingwood need that extra mid which swan will have to fill up, no sandbagging in the fwd line for him this year,     if for some reason he doesnt step back into that role i think elliot will be molded into that sort of player.

You're crazy if you haven't got swan. Especially as he is a forward

Blues Blues Blues

Nothing to lose by having him. Everyone else has him so if he plays like the fat tattood pig that he looks like and scores rubbish then you're in the same boat as everyone else and will need to trade.

BUT, if you don't pick him and his scores are as big as his arse, then you'll kick yourself for not starting him.

I hate him, but if rather have him burn me by playing rubbish in my team, than burn me by scoring 110+ out of my team.

Watching the footage from the link Wato provided he didn't look overly fat either.

And got a showerload of the ball. Lock him in your forward line and throw away the key.
