Waters will address the West Coast team on thursday the 19th of feb. Rumors that he might announce his retirement, as his shoulder is still giving him grief.

I really hope he doesn't have to pull the pin on his career. Unfulfilled would be the term,  as he has so much talent.

If he does retire, thats one less returning back for us to choose from.

He has retired. What a pity for him.

Who to choose the backline now...

Horrible for the guy, just kept pushing but the dodgy shoulder kept letting him down.  I had Yeo locked anyway, but not so sure now, he may not get that midfield time with Beau out, maybe McGovern to fill the holes down back?

Mcgovern hasnt had a great pre season. Still getting over an injury. So hasnt had a full pre season. Maybe yeo will be an option

Not sure where you read that.
He had a delayed start to the preseason after having surgery on his hip but is back with the main group now and is named to play tomorrow night v the indigenous allstars

That was early on in the pre season about mcgovern. Great that he is back up and going. A real swing man. Takes a great mark

yeah but do the commentators get massively overexcited every time he gets within 5 metres of taking a mark? He's got a long way to go before he gets to Nic Nat level  ;)

Apparently mcgovern to play up forward. As Darling isnt ready for round 1,  more than likely. His foot stress fracture is still coming along. But not ready yet..
