Someone talk me out of picking this bloke because I'm seriously considering it. Don't have SC gold but I can't imagine his ownership% would be very high. Got a huge ceiling and is a big contested ball winner which means a big plus supercoach wise.

A lot seem to not want to go anywhere near him because he is no longer dual position, but that's an honest reflection of his position in the swans midfield now. Easily their number one inside ball winner and that will see him spend most of his time through the mids with more of a resting role forward like most Premo mids.

So basically Pros: Huge ceiling, Big POD, his contested footy style matches the swans contested footy style, down on the list of tagging behind JPK, Hanners etc.

Cons: Not really proven, with the abundance of mids he could see more forward time than others (although I personally don't think he will), just 30k more gets you JPK who can be chosen with a lot more confidence, a lot of premo swans mids to take points off him.

Thoughts on him? Averaged a tick over 108 last year and if he can continue his rise and push 115 I'd be happy to take him considering a lack of interest from others.

What Parker did so well last year, that it actually affected JPK a little was go forward and kick goals. So with another pre season in him and a few more kgs. This kids is going to keep improving.
Hanners or Jack will get the tag, because it effects them more, JPK and Parker dont feel it as much because they are inside getting the ball before they go off and run.

Too many other options in the midfield, good POD if that's what you're after, and he'd be a lock if still a forward, so not for me...well not a starter anyway.

I can see him doing what Fyfe did in the last 2 years. Although he went like 106 then dropped and then once again 108 then super premo. I can see Parker jumping straight up to 115-120

the kid was 21 last year? he is going into his 4th season. is a better overhead contested mark than anyone else his size, has pace and strength, his stats are real since he is rarely seagulling to get cheap stats.
