He is super highly rated at the Saints and got added into the leadership group recently too.

How many extra points is that worth? It's the biggest load of crap in football. Players drop in an out on a yearly basis.
Obviously it's worth flower all in regards to SC scoring. Just making a point that he isn't nobody and people knew him before this pre-season like you said.

Just to make a point for meow, NVB was the captain of the Crows but was never a SC option in his prime.

I do currently have Newnes in my squad but he is a question mark until I get a better idea over the NAB in terms of where he looks to be playing and how he uses the ball. There is no point having a guy that is going to rack up 25 possessions a week and butcher 15 of them

Players who play seagul half back find it easier to get through 22 games too. Playing midfield significantly increases his chances of missing a game or two. The total points stat is assuming that all the other defenders play the same amount of matches at the same average. Unlikely!

Yeah man, obviously being in the leadership group or skipper doesn't make him SC relevant, Nick Maxwell was a captain. Was just pointing out that he isn't some random like Meow said haha.

Like you said, he will rotate in the midfield. That's surely going to add at least a couple points to his average along with him becoming a better player naturally. Haha why you so anti-Newnes?

I originally typed Maxwell but thought I would change it to a guy that plays a similar position haha

Keen to see how Shaun Edwards goes for us. I know I have said I don't think he is best 22 yet but has been ticking along nicely in training for us.

Sub material written all over him.

He's listed as a defender isn't he? That'll be a big NAB tease hahaha

yeah, around 180k and a defender.

Agree about being sub material but someone to keep an eye on

Edwards is bottom priced. Should line up in the fwd pocket for the Bombers in rd 1. Even if he scores 40 I'll take that from D8.

Yeah, maybe a HBF or wing, even HFF. He's no forward pocket though....

Yeo/Savage

i think Yeo will do well this season.
Savage on the other hand will disappoint coaches again.

Salem is class and will earn you cash, if you watched him play last year you could see him being a good cash cow this year. However his team mate *cough* Garlett *cough* is tempting me
