I seem to be only able to get one of these guys into my team.  Either one will be F2.  I simply can't decide.

What's the views for and against each?  Each would be the only player from their clubs in my team (so far)

Thanks guys

I am going with both but I see Martin going around 110 this year all he has to do is clean up his disposal efficiency which cant be to hard ;)

I personally find this a crazy question but, if choosing one, Dusty has a huge upside yet! Everything about Dustin Martin "On Field" Suggests a huge year from a talented player, maybe he grew up a little last year?

Dusty... Should score more but the better by swings it more in his favour

See though here's the problem! Dustin Martin is one of the cleanest, best users of the footy but, CD seem reason to not think so? :o  Who died and made them in control of what is and isn't effective?

Disposal efficiency is fine... It's the clanger kicks. Shanks and Horrible turnovers he has the most per game. If he gets that down to what the average midfielder averages. He'd averaged 105-110. Extra mid time could make that 110+.

I have both, i'd take Martin in front of Buddy though only on the slight chance Buddy puts in a bad one, so hard to split.

Martin for me, prefer the FWD/MID to the KPP, though I do know Buddy is a unique KPP, most likely will be an upgrade target.

Sorry to be a pain but there is a thread called Player X vs Player Y where you could post instead of creating a new post.

To answer your question I'd take Martin.

Buddy will work his way into the season and I would suspect you will eventually be able to get him cheaper.

With another pre-season under the belt and more midfield time I can see a potential for Dusty to improve his output in terms of disposals and TOG and this could see his average increase if he improves his shocking forward half kicking efficiency.

If I had to chose one of go with buddy. Just has a much higher ceiling and can do things most players in the comp can't.

and 'great' doesn't even do them justice.

On Dusty v Buddy, I'd be going with Dusty personally. Tipped to get more midfield time and Buddy, being a kpp, is more prone to a quieter game than midfielders. Best to wait for that quiet patch and jump on at a cheaper price

both will ton up. no doubt.
i'd rather Dusty. more mid time means more points. and if he polishes up his game. even more upside.
