Hi all.  Here is my preliminary SC side to date.

Def - Simpson, Shaw, Newnes, Ibbo, Whitecross, Lever, (Goddard, Viojo-Rainbow).

Mids - Gaj, Selwood, Sloan, Lewis, A.Swallow, Rich, Van Berlo, Freeman, (Vandenberg, Boakhurst, Lambert).

Rucks - Nick Nat, Kruzer, (Cox).

Fwds - Martin, Goddard, Swan, T.Mitch, Clark, (Hogan, Saad).

Lewis could be an interesting POD. Kreuz needs to go now so maybe Leuenberger is the right replacement for cash at the moment and you can play around with set ups and maybe go with two premo rucks.


I think you are best off having at least two of Pendles, Rocky and Gaz and Pendles is the cheapest of those. It might be worth downgrading Rich to upgrade Swallow and that midfield will look amazing. I also think you need to get in another defender for the time being as we are unsure on the rookie defenders job security. A way to do that would be to maybe downgrade one of Mitchell or Swan as both have question marks.

I think you have a good starting set up though and as the NAB rolls around you can play around with your structuring a bit more. With the available rookies in the forward line and mids and lack down back and in the ruck it looks like those will be the positions to stack in terms of keepers to save trades and get the cash generation going.

Burger in for Kruzer.  The other FWD is C. Daniel.

Yeah going weak in defence at this stage but will probably change it up depending on other defenders preseason form.

Will consider another premium mid but all signs show Rich is having a great preseason also in the leadership group.
Will make cash/may be a keeper.  If burger goes down or has crap form I'll probably upgarde him to a premium ruck.
