Poor Melbourne
Poor Melbourne?

Top draft picks:

Scully - no direction, left
Watts - no direction, drifting
Trengove - foot is gone, no trade value, richmond walked
Hogan - back injury for a year

shaker

Only young he will bounce back and be nice and cheap next year

Blease, not given enough of an opportunity, left. Now will be a gun.

The injuries are just plain bad luck. The rest are just results of poor development and culture. Let's not forget Morton and a fair few others that I can't be bothered remembering.

If there's one bright side, he'll be cheap next year

RaisyDaisy

Was genuinely upset for the kid when I heard of this.

Imagine how excited he would have been, thinking he is just about to start his dream of a 10-15 year career, then this happens.

Brayshaw just went into about 40,000 extra teams

im not sure they were competing for the same spot but im sure it will help brayshaw play more games as they will want to get games into some of their first year players.

horrible news for recca, lets hipe he bounces back like it looks Hogan will this year.

Yeh they're completely different players - Petracca said himself that he is a forward first not a mid

I wouldn't say Scully had no direction - He was heading straight towards the other side of the rainbow where the pot of mother flowering gold was

Im not sure, but will someone now be upgraded? Is Vandenberg already on senior list, or does this make room for another cheap rookie?

Bully

Big bodies mids are always a risk, just ask Anthony Morabito.

Seriously Melbourne FC can just get flowered. Kids going there are lambs to the flowering slaughter. Sort it out.

What a pathetic comment.

Unlucky injuries have nothing to do with the club. Petracca landed awkwardly at training, it could have happened to any player at any club.

Pull your head in.

Both Vandenberg and Harmes are likely to be upgraded now - Unless Roos decides to keep a spot free for a while to give Mitch White a chance

Football Factory

That's terrible news for Melbourne and Petracca, hoping for an earlier than expected recovery.

Is it good or bad when I read this my thought pattern was; "Oh shower, poor bloke. Next year though..." ?

Lock him in for 2016.

Pull yours in. It comes out in the numbers. The top kids are being chewed up and spat out.
