So heres my attempt at a more unique team

DEF- K.simpson, B. smith, H.shaw, S.hurn,N.vlastuin,B.whitecross (H.wigg, N. newman)

MID- G.ablett, S.pendlebury, J. selwood, C. ward, D. heppell, I. heeney, B. boekhorst, N.freeman, (N.karkouer, B. walsh, K.lambert.)

RUC- N.naitanui, M.Kreuzer, (M.cox)

FWD- B. deledio, L.dalhous, D. swan, T. belly, J. hogan, J. steele, (M. clark, C. daniel.)

REM- 6,600

DEF- Basically gone with four solid premiums here so no questions asked. Vlastiun showed potential in his first year, struggle last year as second year player but hopefuly wont be played as a tagger as much so could break out! Whitecross not locked in depends on if he will be getting games (duh).

MID- 4 super premos here, and gone with heppell as i think he could really explode to 115-125. Rookies obvious just stock standard.

RUC- Naitinui offers great value along with kruezer so pretty explanatory. M cox just in place for loophole.

FWD- Deledio absolute lock for me. I have gone dalhous as i think he can find some real consistency this year possible averaging 100-105. swan proven himself before, a must for me at this price. Belly offers good ruck cover. rookies pick themselves!

I like it.

Tossed up Vlastuin myself - will see how he goes NAB cup might get him in for Yeo/Lumumba - can't fit them all in.

Surprised not to see Heppell in more teams - maybe the saga and no longer dpp is turning people off.

dahlhaus again unique - but I think we all hang back and take tried and true picks rather than taking  punt sometimes.  I took Macrae lround 1 last year - and he turned into a keeper - the young ones have to progress, it is just a matter of making the right choices - Dahlhaus is as good as any.

None of your picks are highly objectionable - it is the combination that you have that makes your team unique.  Well done.

Thanks. Yes i totally agree with vastuin will be watching him closely in NAB. I think heppell will definitely stand up with year despite the saga.
Dahlous again, perfect age and type of player to really find some for this, year.

What are your thought on going selwood-prestia, to free up cash and upgrade another area. Selwood known to drop in price and if prestia could potentially have a massive season, especially if ablett is up fwd more.

I have Selwood as M3 - and I don't particularly like him or Geelong - you know what you get with him across the season - dependable.  Risks have to be taken, but you have to have a decent stock of solid premiums and you have that with Selwood - keep.  Prestia is another unique and as such a risk - don't make the mistake of taking too many risks in terms of uniques.  So I would say that as Heppell is unique this year you would only want 1 of Heppell or Prestia.  I think Gold Coast are going to be massive this year - I have 5 in my team (but not Prestia).  I guess what I am saying is plan your uniiques and keep them to a minimum.

We really need the NAB Challenge to start to start tweaking our tems a bit more.

Newnes is in a lot of sides, 19 possessions for 80pts an increase of 3-6 disposals will increase that to 90+... Should come as he plays mid. Think he's a better option than hurn anyway.

Can't really fault anything else although I'm not a fan of the belly Krooz thing that a lot of people seem to be occupying.

IMO Heppell will stagnate after a breakout which is what happens to many players, around that price I'd Go MMurph.

Love Dahlhaus I've believed ever since griff and coon left he can hit 100+ as he moves deeper into the midfield.

Really solid team! Just a few comments to keep you on your toss

wallace999

took this on board.

went

vlaustin to Newnes, always liked this guy maybe just needed someone to tell me again.

heppell to Tyson

i think tyson could easily go 110+ similar to heppell, and is slightly under priced IMO.

13k remaining.
