dude was a monster, two different players over time, in DET he was everywhere and defended all, in SA n CHI he battled Centres n PF while being shorter and smaller n still got the job done
Only guy that comes to mind who can guard all 5 positions.

Bob Cousy - need a great passer off the bench to keep distributing to the hall of famers
George Gervin - points and more points off the bench.

just a lazy 33 titles from my team.

Uncle Reg

Career Stats: 18.2 points @ 47% shooting, 40% from deep
Accolades: 3x All NBA Third Team, 5x All Star, #2 all-time in threes made, 2x led the league in True Shooting%, 7th all-time in Offensive Win Shares
Longevity: 8th in games played, 8th in minutes played

My final selection, Reggie Miller gives me an elite sniper coming off the bench. Helping spread the floor for the rest of my guys, his spacing will be vital. I avoided taking a PG here as LeBron will be my ball handler when Stockton is off the court. All Miller has to do is run off screens and nail 3 point jumpers, something he was elite at for 18 seasons. Now LeBron can get to his spots easier and my post up bigs have more room to go to work 8)

FINAL TEAM
PG: John Stockton
SG: Dwyane Wade
SF: LeBron James
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Hakeem Olajuwan
Guard: Reggie Miller
Wing: Dennis Rodman
Big Man: Patrick Ewing

Firstly, I completely agree that Rodman was a fantastic D-Guy and rebounder.  What's even more amazing was he was a pure scorer coming out of college, but I digress.

What a lot of people don't remember from Chicago is that they actually played amazing team defence.  Watch the video again and tell me how many times Chicago DON'T go the double team on Shaq.  Shaq recognises this and passes back out from the low post a number of times (also smart play from Shaq)

RiOtChEsS

yeah absolutely, they never really had a legit Centre, Luc Longley, Bill Wennington, Bill Cartwright.

The way LeBron and Wade played D together reminded me of MJ n Scottie, chase down blocks from crazy angles

AFEV

Big game James! James Worthy final pick.-
