Dwyane Wade

Career stats: 24.2 points @ 49% shooting, 5.0 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.9 blocks
Player Efficiency Rating: 25.2 (8th all-time)
Accolades: 3x Champion, Finals MVP, Scoring Leader, 2x All NBA First Team, 3x All Defensive Second Team, 11x All Star

In Wade's rookie season the Heat went from being a 25 win team the year before, to winning a playoff series. Wade was 2nd in regular season PER on that team and #1 in the playoffs - incredible for a rookie. In his 2nd year he made the All NBA 2nd Team and the All Defensive Second Team. His peak year, 08-09, he led Miami to the playoffs with averages of 30.2 points @ 49% shooting, 5.0 rebounds and 7.5 assists with a PER of 30.4 (second in that year only to LeBron). The player with the 2nd most Win Shares on that Miami team who went to the playoffs was Udonis Haslem...

There's so much more to Wade's game than scoring though. His career assist% ranks 35th in NBA history - yes that's above Oscar Robertson and Michael Jordan. He is also the purest shot blocking guard to ever play. http://bkref.com/tiny/6781E

Elite on both ends of the floor, and we know he works well with LeBron - they won back to back championships together. This pick gives me a quality defensive backcourt with Wade and Stockton, and also another very efficient scoring threat. Playing with two of the greatest shooters ever in Stockton and Dirk should help Wade's game immensely.

PG: John Stockton
SG: Dwyane Wade
SF: Lebron James
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Hakeem Olajuwon

Patrick Ewing

Career stats: 21.0 points @ 50% shooting, 9.8 rebounds, 2.4 blocks
Player Efficiency Rating: 21.4
Accolades: All-NBA First Team, 6x All-NBA Second Team, 3x All Defensive Second Team, 11x All Star, 5x finished top 5 in points, 7x top 5 in blocks, 2x league leader in Defensive Rating, 3x league leader in Defensive Win Shares,
Longevity: 40th in Games Played, 26th in Minutes Played

This pick allows me to somewhat cover the loss of when Hakeem is not on the court, particularly on the defensive end. Big Pat, anchored two of the top 10 defenses of all-time: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2185159-ranking-the-nbas-20-best-defenses-of-all-time/page/13

He is no liability on offense either, coming in at 6th all-time among big men for points. Ewing had a sweet shooting stroke which is ideal for a big man playing with LeBron.

I think Hakeem and Ewing could start together in certain matchups as both are versatile offensively and obviously elite defensively. Good luck scoring in the paint. And then having to guard a LeBron/Hakeem or Ewing pick N roll/pop on the other end.

PG: John Stockton
SG: Dwyane Wade
SF: LeBron James
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Hakeem Olajuwon

Big Man: Patrick Ewing

Old Man Riverwalk, Tim Duncan.

The exact personality that you want to build a stable, enduring dynasty around. Duncan is consistent and reliable both on and off the court, and is the focal point of the greatest modern dynasty.
Top 20 all time for minutes played, Duncan is an incredibly combative and effective athlete. He may lack the flash and dynamism of some superstars of his day, but along with Kareem is in my opinion the bestp layer consistency wise.

60+ games in 15/17 (lockout) completed seasons so far, meaning that we can rely on Duncan to carry us from season to season.

Career Stats: Average (total)
19.7 PTS (25,598), 2.2 BPG (2,883), 3.1 AST (3,973), 11 REB (14,416)

Notable Seasons:
98/99 (2nd), 01/02 (4th), 02/03 (5th)

Awards & Accolades:
5x NBA Champion, 3x Finals MVP, 2x MVP, 15x AS, 10x NBA First Team, 8x Defensive First Team, RoTY

In 5 years, not even a whole 5, Steph has more triple than AI, KD35, Melo...
This guy is the future King of Triples and an essential weapon in the triangle offense, a PG who can play off guard and bury 3's

C: Shaquille O'Neal
PF:Kevin Garnett
SF: Scottie Pippen
SG: Kobe Bryant
PG: Steph Curry

The Human Highlight Film; Dominique Wilkins

Been throwing up a few different players to go for my bench and decided that Wilk was the best player to pick first.

24.8ppg, 6.7rpg, 35.5mpg and 1074 games over 17 years.

He's a 9x NBA All-Star, 1x NBA Scoring Champion, the Atlanta Hawks' all time leading scorer. And he wouldn't be a human highlight film without the 2x Slam Dunks Contest Champion.

He didn't win that many personal accolades, not as many as others have that's for sure. But with this team he can provide valuable minutes while KD has a rest. And valuable points too.

PG: Isiah THOMAS
SG: Michael JORDAN
SF: Kevin DURANT
PF: Karl MALONE
C: Moses MALONE

Wing: Dominique WILKINS
