forgive me, but isn't his mate Sloane in the the same outta contract boat this year.

His parents moved to Adelaide - So there's a good chance he's just holding out until the Crows give him a better deal

I do agree with Quinny in that a disgruntled coach mite do a clarkson on him and look to the future.
But I also think we have all forgotten how good danger is.

Top five players in the afl for mine. Obviously not as pig like as rocky but a far more gifted player.
Really believe he will average 115 and his bye makes him a lock.
Hope he stays unique which he should

Buddy is probably top 5 too though and it affected him massively.
I just worry that they will plonk him forward too much

Holding out for danger to leave so he can ask for a bigger pay packet :P

I've got him locked. Underpriced because he played injured all last year. Has had a 119ave season in the past, and he isn't even 25 yet.

Final year of his contract so will be looking to up his value for the open market.

That's exactly what Sloane is doing once Danger signs on the dotted line at Collingwood.

100% this. Lock him in.

He's underpriced, but still throws in the odd 70, so I'll bring him in if he shows the contract talks are hurting his scores when he falls back down to (and below) $570k.

Early bye? High SD? He's on a list with Beams, Sloane, MMurphy etc as guys I'll look at upgrading to.

Coming from a Crows fan and person experience, Danger seems to always have slow starts to seasons before exploding. Take the first four rounds he played in each of his last three years. Nothing to sneeze at mind you, but the numbers don't lie...

2012: R1 93, R2 92, R3 99, R4 91... Ave: 93.75. Season Ave: 119
2013: R1 63, R2 107, R3 84, R4 120... Ave: 93.5. Season Ave: 113
2014: R1 107, R2 73, R3 99, R4 87... Ave: 91.5. Season Ave: 106

I'm banking on history repeating (oh and him returning to 110+ ave), and he will be the perfect first upgrade for me

Agree, an upgrade target. He has the potential to be a super premium, but just seems to have to work extremely hard for his possessions compared to other premium mids.

Why would you bring him in if the contract talks are hurting his scores? I'm confused haha.

That makes more sense hahaha. I'm worried for Goosey and Keeper though, cause they agreed with you! :P

I like your thinking but he's starting a bit lower this year
2013 ~640k
2014 ~608K
2015   567k

I think he is lower enough already, I'm locking him in,
