Not much mention of danger.
2 years ago looked to step up and rival Gaz for the supercoach mantle but after last year was very disapointing as his body looked battered. Definately underpriced for what he can achieve but do people think his body will hold up for the entire year and the contract issues will hold him back, or will he return to the supercoach elite. When danger is on he could very well go 120+

contract issues scaring most off him

Most will be scared off by the contract issues but if he can put that aside and not let it effect his footy then he definitely has the potential to go 120+

It's a big 'if' though.

He could show the Crows what they will be losing and go off  :-\

This is going to sound a little dumb, but which players have been severely affected by contract talks over the past few years? Cloke? Buddy? Any midfielders? It gets brought up a lot, but I just can't imagine it would happen to a player like Dangerfield.

I really don't know if that's a good reason not to pick someone. In the NFL, a player in a contract year usually performs above average to ensure they can squeeze out more money!

Last year Danger had all sorts of injuries he was dealing with, and providing he's shaken them off I can see him getting up to a 115 average easily.

I thought exactly the same jfifty, and had danger in my side regardless, then I did a little research into some of the more high profile 'will he/wont he' contract situations.  I wont put up all the players here, but three of the main ones show some cause for concern (or at least gave me something to think about)

Player              Previous year ave         Last year at club             First year at new club
Gary Ablett            140                               129                              127
Chris Judd              136                               106                              109
Brendan Goddard    107                               101                              106

Read into that what you will I suppose

Also the the fact that the coach could resign to the fact that he is leaving and play him in different positions to prepare for when he's gone. Like Hawthorn did with buddy.

Last year he was playing basically dead too..

JBs-Hawks

Cant see him lowering his output on last year so wouldnt be the worst pick

Dayze

I do agree with Quinny in that a disgruntled coach mite do a clarkson on him and look to the future.
But I also think we have all forgotten how good danger is.

Top five players in the afl for mine. Obviously not as pig like as rocky but a far more gifted player.
Really believe he will average 115 and his bye makes him a lock.
Hope he stays unique which he should

It's Sloane vs Danger for me, with Danger getting a toe ahead because of his starting price. I think regardless of his contract he can't go backwards from last year's scores.

Won't go backwards not sure he will improve though

He will, how much am not sure of but, surely wont be as unfit and injured as 2014? ???  Maybe he will given how he plays!

Im not starting him if this is any indication of where I label the gun kid!

frenzy

forgive me, but isn't his mate Sloane in the the same outta contract boat this year.
