He came straight in and played in North's finals matches and played as well as you could expect coming off 3-4 months out.

Awkwardly priced. I don't think he'll average enough to be a keeper nor make enough cash to be a viable cash cow.

I agree that he won't make as much cash as others and won't be a keeper, but the problem is that there's so little under 300k to consider... So unless we go with an all premo defense from day 1 (which I'm actually considering to be honest), we might have to settle for someone who can add say 100k to their price tag, and then use money from other cash cows to upgrade them. At this stage 'm really leaning towards a weak mid/fwd with lots of cash cows/mid-pricers involved, and stacking the defense from the start...

im even looking at guys like ibbotosn and yeo who i would never pick.

at this rate if he plays 22 and goes 70+ he is a better option than everyone else.

Totally agreed Kiwi, currently have 3 defenders >450k and 2 defenders between 400k and 450k that will be keepers (all things going well) and have changed my mid-field from 5 premo's to 4 premo's and a mid-price stepping stone. Just hoping now that there will be 3 viable defensive rookie options.  Personally I dont trust that Jamie Macmillan will be much more than an expensive place setter, better options for mine.....

Would rather spend money on back premo. Other rookies around the ground for same price or cheaper who will score better...

I feel like there are less random (for lack of a better word) choices available. I get that we're all a little desperate and that even though we're all kinda clutching at straws, Macmillan is still a very odd and left-field choice.
