My thoughts on Clancee which I've posted a few times, but for what it's worth

Has been a lock all preseason, the worry with him is JS and vest.
Freo supporters might be able to shed some light on this.

I was asking about this about a month back and Rico mentioned he didn't look like he would fit in the best 21 because of structure although he might be there in terms of talent. If Duff misses extended time it looks like he might find a way in.
Yep pretty much.  I would have him in my 22 every day of the week because of his elite kicking and he'sa natural ball magnet. Reality is he's about 18-25. So when Fyfe and Ibbo come back in next week keep an eye on Clancee's role. One thing he has got going for him atm is that Ross rewards boys that do the hard work and Clancee came back to preseason a lot fitter after doing a lot of work away from the club, which he needed to do after dropping the ball in that area last year

Nice insight Rico. What are your thoughts on Ibbo. A glaring omission from last night's game and didn't play in Freo's last intra club either. Is he still carrying an injury?

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on whether he would be a decent pick this year.

Yep he's still coming back from shoulder surgery. Has been training fully with the group now for over a month and Ross has said he'll play this week. Due to the defensive options this year I think he's a great pick at his price if fit. Has gone 94 before in this role. So if he gets through this next NAB and lines up RD1 he's locked in my side

Right now Geary and Clancee are D5 and D6 but this is bound to change many times in the next few weeks

Interested in another look at Geary today, currently rolling with the same D5-D6 as yourself.

Only problem is it will be tough to read much into the saints performance considering it will be against a watered down bombers line up

Yeah, today is irrelevant.

I'm not so sure

I'd probably take X% off his score, but his role should be the same, and that's what I want to see

L.Mac - N.Brown at this stage, I still think 50 for a few weeks from someone with j/s is better than a donut who might make u some $$ later on

Anyone still looking at Yeo? Or has he fallen behind guys like Ibbo and Geary

I'm an Eagles fan and I've never considered him

No doubt he will improve his scoring, and I expect to see him role through the mids, but I cant see him pushing 90 just yet

If he was 50k or so cheaper he would be worth the shot, but I just think guys like Pearce, MacMillian etc will probably score the same and are much cheaper, so will make you more cash

Atm apair of Freo boys...Ibbo and Pearce

Brad Sheppard has to be considered too

359.4k

Scored 89 in NAB 1 vs Car and at 1/2 time vs Port was leading scorer with 71

Seems to be playing a really SC friendly role off half back

Put him straight in mine haha ... Also played very well in the indigenous match .... Ellis hammy if serious assures him a start also ... Clean user and smart player ... Finally showing us potential

Former top 10 pick too, will look very closely.
