Same here. I hated it the last couple years. The good thing is Carlton play first and GC/Melbourne play 2nd. This means guys like Kreuz, Boekhorst, Nicholls, Gaz and the Melbourne rookies I am considering can be monitored without me having to commit to them. It will also be the perfect way to avoid vests to go along with those late withdrawals

What are people's thoughts on Delaney? A lot of ageing defenders down at Geelong, must have been recruited for a reason. I believe he was carrying injury, any news on that?

I think the Cats will roll with Lonergan/Rivers/Taylor. They also picked up Stanley who can play some defense and they might looks at grooming the Blitz to play down back

As it stands ATM Lumumba and Yeo are D5 and D6.

I don't like it at all........ spending so much coin on showerty scorers.

Seems that a lot of risk is going to be taken in Defence this year, more so than any other year. Seeing a lot of mid pricers in teams, guys like Harry O, Hurn, Yeo, Fisher, Ibbotson, Rampe, Savage, Newnes and Seedsman to name a few.

Not to mention the popular choice injury risks in Waters, WhiteX, Brown, Fisher.

I'd go as far to say that this could be the line that makes or breaks your SC year. Whoever nails the defence I think will be well on their way to winning the big one.....

I really don't want to be paying over 250k for so many of these SC hacks. Some of the names getting thrown up - we are really clutching at straws and getting desperate
