Martin to fwd line turn belly into mid rookie freeman. Then wells to NVB/Acres/Biggs.

Upgrade DEF rookie and McDonald

I admit it - i'm addicted to fidgeting with my team. So much, i've created an alternative team. Which is the better of the two?

Team 1

Team 2

Ok so after the not-so-good reaction last time and a few trades later my two teams look a fair bit different from the first two.Team 2 was harder to create as I wanted to have no players in common. For that reason, one looks stronger than the other (I'll let you guess which.)
Once again, let me know which one is the better of the two and any improvements for Team 1 and/or Team 2. Thanks once again for your opinion.

Please reply to this one with suggestions? I'm going with an unusual D4 M6 R2 F3 setup. Let me know what you think..

To be honest i'm not a fan of the 6 prem midfield, defence is very weak, but if a few rookies get up it might be OK, in saying that i would swap mcdonald for geary, i believe there's better options then Griffen, especially at that price and at a new club, but could pay off, wouldn't trust Higgins either but that's completely up to you.

Otherwise, i'd downgrade 1 or 2 midfield prems to the likes of NVB, Biggs, Upgrade Higgins, Mcdonald, Mckenzie, probably look at downgrading Jacobs to Goldy for a bit of cash and see what you can do with it!

Ok so something a little more different. Apart from a few trades, the major problem here is the hole in my forward line. I seriously need some suggestions for this last position in my team. Please reply with ideas for the last player to be given a spot in Tex's Titans for 2015

[Sidenote- Ignore the amount of cash left,  got some more and my budget is now $515k, sorry about that]

Bully

Harley Bennell is the one I'd pick on that budget.

Ok, Bennell seems like a decent pick, any others? Also, I need to pick two out of these three: Ollie Wines, Andrew Swallow and Brad Crouch

In regards to the backline, selecting premos and rookies as been a lot more harder. Last year, majority of us started with McVeigh, Mitchell, Swallow, Bartel, etc. This year we don't have that luxury as those premos have lost their defence status. And its the same with rookies. Last year we had Langdon, KK that played early and cemented a spot in their best 22. This year it is the complete opposite. Their hasn't been a clear standout rookie(s) in the nab games and we aren't certain that blokes like Hamling, Goddard, Saad will get games early. Most have gone to the extreme and are even relying on Nathan Brown (including myself). Believe its important to have a mid pricer at D5. In your case, you've got 3 of them in Higgins, KK and Ibbo which is too many for my liking and there is a high level of risk involved. Best and most common for the defence is probably 4 premo + mid pricer + 3 rookies. I myself have gone 5 premos + 3 rookies. With the defence issues this season, best to invest more in that line.
But yeah! Like the picks of Swallow and Griffen. Gray is an upgrade target but is what he did last game shows why he is worth the big bucks. :)

Yeah thanks for the advice. I changed the backline and traded ibbotson for shaw and traded out gray and bennell, leaving me with 932k to spend on two forwards. Any advice? Thanks for the help   :D

no worries! What is your side like now?

Like this (note gap in forward line)

Money Shot

Like the look of this side!
maybe Martin and Mitchell in that forward line?

Really good side and usually I don't like the mid price strategy but it has deffs paid of this time!

AaronKirk

Way too many speculative picks.

In the mids and forwards go with one max speculative pick. I can see why there would be a few in defence but there are better options than Higgins and Kolodjasnij.

I'd downgrade one of Wines, Griffen or Swallow to a rookie. Upgrade one of them to a super premo and use the cash to upgrade KK or Higgins.
