Ringos RDT Diary 2015

After first year doing RDT last year thought I would also do a RDT Diary.  Been doing one in SC for the last 4 years,

Trying to follow last years succesful strategy of going with gut not overanalysing and only spending minumum time each week.

First Team Draft for 2015 and will sit on till Round 1.

Team name Ringos Rocky Road



Backs 3 prems Yeo will get mid time and Pearce and Waters should both get game time and 2 rooks should play as well.
Mids - Brisbane Bias showing but hard to ignore Rich at the price and Redrock combo went well till Reddens injury.
NVB also a virtual must at the price and Rookies place holders but should play.
Rucks: Have gone set and forget and put Lobb on bench as he should get games
Fwds: My Weakest line but all should play and provide cash gain

$22k cash left as well

Looks solid Ringo. No room for Zorko, Have a feeling he could go big with Beams and Rich returning taking a bit of the heat off him, allowing him to roam his high half forward role?

Zorko is a wait and watch with the introduction of Beams, Christensen and Robbo it is a watch on his role as i suspect he will get less mid time. May rotate with Christo depending on game situations as both similar players. With Christo mosquito squad has a 4th member.

Not a bad side mate, couple of points namely that Birchall and Waters have had injuries this pre-season so might be worth replacing. Also what makes you think C Pearce will play this year? Wasn't he on the outer last season? If he's in the side (and not the sub) then by all means but I kind of felt the team passed him by a bit last year.

I like the Biggs pick, not sure about Blease - may play but looks the Rohan type who is flashy but you don't score points for runs out of defence and bounces.

Rest of the team is good though.

Thanks Memph following last years strategy for RDT.  Will have another look in week one of the comp and put team together in 20 mins.   :D With so many injuries croping up now sure to be changes.

Only thing I'd say is that you're probably missing a premo in the FWD line - a 400-500k player - e.g. Tom Mitchell

Following last years plan just spent half an hour finalising pre team naming team.

Bye Structure has me a little concerned 11/6/13 (Prems 4/3/6).  May adjust some rookies when teams named to improve.

Reasonably happy with this team.
