Having second thoughts on starting him. Currently, my fwd line is Goddard, Buddy, Martin, Swan, Clark and Hogan. Would it be worth downgrading buddy to a cash cow like Salem or T. Adams?

He's 6th on the list of forwards I'd like to start. Unfortunately, I can't start that many.

Mantis

Last year there were doubts over Buddy which is why i could understand those who didn't pick him. Used to be first forward pick and even though there are alot of good options around i reckon Buddy is under priced and has the highest ceiling out of all the forwards.

I have Goddard, Deledio, Franklin,Swan. Went for Lids and Goddard for their consistency, so came down to Dusty vs Buddy, was flip of the coin but like Buddy's ceiling. Will be wanting Dusty in my forward line at some stage though haha

Proved last year will get supply not many better forwards around when he is on

nperera95

yeah his ceiling is absolutely crazy! Can throw in stinkers as well but i guess you get the good with the bad.

100 goals, Coleman, Brownlow. This is buddy's year. 115 Supercoach average

Pwoah. By the sounds of it, Swans will be premiers and Buddy wins the Norm Smith medal ;)

Yes swans will win the flag, but no buddy norm haha

You know he will chuck in the odd bad game and even it out with a few monster ones. Thing is if you can jump on at the right time after one of the bad ones you can get him on the cheap. Good upgrade target

This completely.
Buddy has been forgotten. Genuine reasons to leave him out last two years which have and been vindicated. Not anymore tho.
Should go 107-110. Has the awkward bye so should stay relatively unique. Hasn't left my team for a minute

Hagebear

Just can't bring myself to not have Buddy. Can't have those sleepless nights when I see one of my opponents 'unique' players is Buddy.

Can throw monster scores plus some shockers as some have said plus think he will get rested for some games as well for that troublesome knee won't be starting with him but will look to get him later in the season

Sabretooth Tigers

 :)
not keen on him, but even less keen to having him play against me. So he's in at Goddard's expense and that's purely because I'm going to leave Ess players to be upgrades once there's more certainty and " Days Of Our Lives (ASADA) are finally played out.    :'(

At this stage I've locked in Deledio and Goddard for consistency, and Swan for his price, now deciding between Buddy or forking out the cash for Gray!

Leaning towards Buddy though, got a feeling he'll go back to 110 average this year.

Dons

Already underpriced for mine, if he doesn't throw in more than 1 stinker ever 3-4 rounds, he may not get any cheaper if he keeps throwing in the odd big hundred too, as history suggests he will. Starter for me.
