Not a bad start at all mate. First major concern is Dick at D6 though, most will have someone like a Whitecross there. And while some see him as fringe at the Hawks, they rate him very highly at the club and he still has more JS than any of the other rookies so far. But he's one to watch for NAB anyway. Really like the Lumumba pick, I'm slowly coming round to him and have him in my side atm. Rookies in the mids are ok for now, also consider Freeman, Drummond, Newton, Brayshaw, NVB, Boekhorst and Vanderberg. Rucks are solid as and have cover in Belly so hard to fault. And fwds are great as well. Personally I would pick someone like DMartin over Buddy though.

Overally its a solid team mate, and an even better name :P

Nice Team Memph - Just wondering with Jacobs and Nat whether you need the added scurity of Bellchambers but GWYG.
Structure is sound. Hartung an interesting pick but time will tell.

Thanks for the feedback mate. It's my first effort so I'm sure it will improve from here. Most of the rookies are just placeholders at the moment. I will wait and see who gets a start/looks good in the NAB Cup before deciding on the final line-up.

I'm not sold on Whitecross' job security at this stage - I can't see him in the Hawks best 22 which means he needs someone to be injured to get a gig. Also if he does play I reckon he would be the perfect substitute so that's not ideal - still if no rookies play Round 1 and he does I'll have to fit him in.

Same with the mid rookies - all those are on my watchlist and it will depend on NAB Cup/who plays etc. As for Buddy I think I might actually change him for Gray who has a much better bye.

Yeah I have been wondering that as well. Have changed Bellchambers to Walters actually for the mid priced option.

Hartung like the other cheapies I'll wait and see. I like him to do what Brad Hill did last year though - he's been looking real good in pre-season and with his tank shouldn't be one for the vest.
