Drummond's the interesting one. Not sure many would have considered him at all.

Had excellent stats in the TAC cup last season but I don't see where he fits in at the Tigers at this stage nor Lambert.

Seems a pretty settled group they had last season going into the finals.

Keeper27

most people would've had those players in and out of their teams all preseason

There's a few that will get overtaken soon by these gun kids.  Shaun Grigg springs to mind

Grigg's spot has basically been filled by Taylor Hunt now.

Guys like Newman, Foley etc will be the ones with pressure from the kids. I expect this to be Newy's last year, but Axel's been fairly good of late and has the experience in a fairly young midfield.

Oh and I think that we're probably more likely to see Kane Lambert (even though he needs a promotion from the rookie list) before Drummond.

Hunt hasn't even played a game for you yet lol, but yeh Grigg is an average player

Yeah, I'm aware of that haha. Basically saying that I think unlike the kids, Hunt's a walk-up start to the 22 and that he'll likely keep Grigg out of the side. Like, if we didn't get Hunt, the chances of somebody like Drummond or Lambert pushing for Grigg's spot would be even better.

Lambert a sneaky chance to get a game round 1.

I think richmond have said they will be going with a very young team in the nab challenge to give the kids a chance so hopefully a couple can dominate to get a look in for round 1

honza

Isn't it a club tradition at Richmond for a mid to get gastro the night before the season opener?

Jackross10

I think it is wait and see, now rookies are good just to fill in spots. After nab, heaps of these guys won't play but others we don't know of will. Just placeholders for now.

Wha?  :o

sammy123

I think coaches saying there pushing gor a spot doesn't help. Cause sometimes they push and don't get a game.

Was impressed with biggs. His stats were good

kilbluff1985

Drummond is pretty good did research on him for XV leagues not really been in my preseason teams as don't think he will get many games this year

SydneyRox

Yeah, was a good read. Lambert by all reports will get upgraded, Richmond have held a spot open.

Biggs will be a really interesting one, if he is named round 1, I think i will jump on
