Way, way, way too many midpricers in your team.

I see a maximum of 8 players that will be keepers plus Waters who could be a premium if he stays injury free. Most other teams will start with 13 or 14 keepers as well as Waters.

This is the sort of team that would be on top of the ladder in your league with your mates after 5 rounds and then right near the bottom by the end of the year.

The problem with a team like this is that you will be stuck with a whole lot of players that won't be in the top bracket for their position while all the teams around you turn there low priced rookies into premium players.

Ringo

Agree with Ben here way too many mid pricers.  Remember the team that will win the competition will be the one that gets a team of premiums first and you will not be able to do that quickly with the amount of rookies you have,
Can I suggest that you look at a structure that suits you and work from that.  There are a number of structures that you can pick up from other teams to assist.

Mine atm is and bear in mind there are a number of options but you need to decide up front.
Backs 3 prems 2 mid pricers 3 rookies
Mids: 4 prems 2 mid pricers 4 rookies (I class NVB as a mid pricer)
Rucks 2 prems 1 rook
Fwds: 3 prems 5 rookie priced but not necessarily rookies,

Just highlighting you need to decide the structure that suits.

Also watch the NAB cup and look for rookies that are likely to be named Round 1 as you want rookies earning cash from Round 1.

When I finalise my team I want at least 28 players playing round . I have 2 low priced rooks to offer DPP so not concerned if they do not play for structure.

Where to start here

You have really loaded up in defence and mids at the expense of Rucks and Forwards.

One of the goals in SC if you are to win Leagues or cash is to try and get a prem team as quickly as possible and that is to get as many of the Top 10 in each position as quickly as possible. At the moment I see only 8 players who will be probably be Top 10.

Have a look at other teams in thread and see how they are structured and then decide on a structure that suits you.

Your Team of 11/2 is much better than this latest one. So I would be using that one and working on your strategy from there.

frenzy

simpson b.smith shaw fisher newnes seedsman      /wigg/maynard

ablett pendles beams swan cockatoo boekhorst gore steele    / laverde/smith/stretch

lycett witts     /cox

goddard martin bennell mitchell belly hogan    /clarke/lambert

out docherty in seedsman
out d.smith in dusty martin
clarke to the bench and steele on the field in the mids for goddard.

Not a fan of Swan in the mids. How about dropping Bennell and one of Mitchell/Belly, move Swan forward, bring in Salem, then bring in a super premo mid such as Jelwood?

Ok, thanks......I reckon 2014 may turn out to be just a blemish on the radar for the original pig. I can see his 2015 season being something more like previous seasons. Think he should finish back in the top dozen midfielders. Before 2014 he was my prema VC ahead of the likes of pendles and just feel that his form is to bigger fall from Grace.

Yeah but I mean, you can choose him in the forward line now. So you're basically opting for a forward premo over a mid premo by having Swan in the midfield

arbel

Totally agree with GoLions, if there is ever a chance to put a premo mid in one of the other lines then you put them there as midfielders are the main scorers. Just cos that's where they might play in actual games doesn't mean you have to put them there  :P .... anyway where to start with this team ...

DEF: Nope!! too much money spent here and the rookie choices are weird. I know the rookie choices are thin this year for defenders but at least pick the ones that look like getting a game, rainbow/goddard etc.
MIDS: As stated swan should be in forward line, I'd think of beams as an upgrade as you don't know how he'll go in his new club. who is gore?? and cockatoo at M5 is too weak. Need to get a van berlo in there and again with the rookie selections a lot more of the likely playing ones missed out on, freeman, krakeour
RUCKS: Start again ... need at the very least one of the premos in there ... sanid/goldy/nicnat/mumford etc.
FWDS: Should start clark on field with Hogan, Mitchell still has to get back in for the swans better choices than bennell or swap him for swan.

I only think a 3/10 for this team, needs a lot of work. In all honesty it almost has the feel like you've clicked autofill and posted what came up. I'd keep, simpson, shaw, ablett, pendles, boekhurst, steele, goddard, martin, Hogan and clark and dump the rest and start again.
