I know there are just too many good forwards to pick from this year, but do we need to consider this guy at all?

He was and is pumped up as on the of the best prospects ever, and it looks like he (along with Bennell) looked very good today

I just cant see how we can fit him into our sides, but just wanted to put this update out there for discussion

my smile looked like the entrance to Luna Park.    ;)

The only way you could fit him in, and it's a big risk, is instead of Swan or TMitch and use the $150k to bolster elsewhere.

Have him in my ever changing team ATM.  Have a few Gold Coasters that I think can kick on and have high ceilings as well.
Gazza and Prestia  in the middle. Bennell  and Martin up forward. And if I had any money left to build a semblance of a defence I'd have Malceski as well. Have Crouch B  at M.6,  J Martin  at F.4,  two prem rucks  and a very hopeful defence.    ;)

Any other year I would take the punt, but with so many solid premo fwds this year its just too risky

I currently have Belly in my fwds for the whole DPP ruck cover carry on, but if there's a rookie ruck looking like playing early on (ideally named round 1) then I'm seriously considering taking the risk and swap Belly to JMart. Almost identical price so money is moot, but if JMart can play out a season the way he finished 2014 he could push for keeper status, or at least a very solid bench player. My only concern is 2nd year blues, even though he missed a lot of last season. Belly won't be spectacular but should be consistent...

Disagree with a lot of this... He is worth it. Jaeger O'meara will be lucky to make round 1 and will rest a lot up forward as he returns to full fitness and confidence which opens a spot for jack Martin in the midfield. Nice stepping stone and could become f6. Minimum output Im seeing is 80 from him absolute gun. Few quality games last year 82, 94, 83, 119 as he has bulked up now he could be even better suited. Scary to think what he could do if he's rated better than jaeger.

thats just me, I Respect all other opinions!

This.

He's currently in my squad, hoping jagers recovery keeps him out longer than expected

Think he would be an exciting option in previous years. But I very much plan on my F6 averaging 100 this year.

Pretty set on Lids Buddy Goddard and Swan starting and upgrade to Gray and Martin, all of whom I would be very surprised if they didn't average 100+

If Martin was in the backline I wouldn't hesitate. Just don't think its the year for it personally. Just a trade needed down the track and don't see a point in planning my bench cover in round one...

Considering it myself. But for Mitch

Any word on why he didn't play on the weekend?
