Have been toying around with my team for awhile trying out different structures and thought I may as well post the latest version up.Still deciding on structure I will use and will likely depend on round 1 teams.I also have a couple of place holders down back.

I think you have way too many expensive mid pricers/cheapo's

Seedsman is no certainty to be best 22, and then you have 8 expensive picks (4 in the mids and 4 in the forwards)

I assume you've done that because you think they have better JS, but you've only got 12 keepers which will probably put you off to a slower start than most, but I guess the positive is that if cheaper rookies pop up you have plenty of guys you can downgrade to generate cash and get another premo in :)

Yep and that is the exact plan since I do not really see many rooks playing this year at round 1
But I don't class players at the price Acres etc are as mid pricers they are just expensive rookie priced players that should have better JS than a rook and that is why they are there
And Seedsman is a place holder atm

This. I'd really want another premo in there somewhere

AaronKirk

I agree with RD and Hibb

We cannot be guaranteed that the JS of Acres, Newton, Biggs and Blease will be any better than the cheaper alternatives either.

At least if cheaper rookies/mid pricers become clearer you can move to bring another premo in somewhere.

Seamon8er

Like the midfield
But with 60k in the bank might be worth downgrading Seedsman and using the cash to upgrade blease in attack to one of the many premo atk/mid options

fasttrack13

Keep those highly priced midpriced rookies. You can downgrade them come round one. Easier to downgrade them than upgrade them!!

Pseed probably not in the pies best 22...

Have had the cbf attitude lately, but decided to have a little play around today.

First thing that jumped out at me was Wright at D5, haven't seen that one yet, only heard talk about people doing it. It could work given the murmurs about his role in 2015. I assume the rookies are placeholders, but regardless I think you can do better than Xav Richards.

Lobb is an interesting choice for R3, I assume he'll be the one to take Mummy's spot if/when he goes down and I'm looking at him as R3 for that reason since I've actually got Mummy in my side. One thing preventing me from sticking Lobb at R3 is not knowing which one of Lobb/Downie/Phillips will get the nod when Mummy is out of the side.

I like the rest and the cash you have left is good to see in case of emergency.

Wright is kind of a place holder,I do want to see his role first.
I do have my eye on someone else but need to see where they are playing and their possible role first.

Yeah Lobb is the one I have heard is likely to come in for Mummy if he gets injured but have the same thoughts as you still.

All rooks are pretty much place holders and I have someone in mind for D7/8 but not sure if they will get games from round 1.

So I had a play around taking Gazza out for now.
I have left myself $184,500 at this point.
All rookies are subject to being upgrading and of course named round 1
Still quite unsure on Karnezis as well after the burning from a couple of years ago.
Bye I am not too worried about at the moment either.

Yeah I dont mind at all mate.
Our defence is pretty much the same. MacMillan could become handy. Another Cruiser boy ;)
Sidey pod among one of my favs, going to damn myself when i don't pick him...
Sacrificing 1 in the forwardline for an extra high priced midfielder. You're riding a lot on those forward rookies on playing and making cash. 6 forward cash cows is a little too much for me :P But if you really think that Hanners could be top 8-10 midfielder that's fine otherwise, i'd change him to a rookie and get a fwd who you think will go top 6-8.

No Eagles is disappointing.  :P

There might be down forward yet depending on rooks that play round 1
I could end up with Hurn back in yet just need to see how he goes this weekend, hopefully the backline that lines up on the weekend is the one we will have round 1.

Hanners could be anyone actually, there are a few mids I like that could go to M5 if I keep this structure.I do think he will score very well this year tho.
