Not very. Don't see him going 90+, and for just shy of $400k, that's not enough.

Maybe not it will be Giles rucking to Goddard, Chappy and Cooney, no Watson, Heppell Stanton. I reckon his hit out to advantage could be low.
What about a straight swap, Belly for McKernan?

Maybe not it will be Giles rucking to Goddard, Chappy and Cooney, no Watson, Heppell Stanton. I reckon his hit out to advantage could be low.

If Lowden moved ahead of O'Brien in the pecking order and Sauce was out for a week or 2 would Walsh play them both or just Lowden with a Jenkins chop out?

Hard to tell mate. I think if you're going to spend big at start Sauce, then yeah why not put O'Brien on the bench, just makes sense

I cant decide on a team structure now because I've had Belly at F3 forever, but now I am getting cold feet on whether he will actually play. If he doesn't play, then what? I really prefer to have some sort of ruck cover. Burning a trade to avoid a donut for a week will drive me insane!

Its actually going to be an interesting problem. Will burn a lot of coaches if one of their starters gets injured. Obrien seems like the only rookie with any real chance of a game. I know its wrong of me to say so, BUT...... 2 game suspension prospect for Essendon is THE worst thing for super coach... If it was 3 games at least you could use McKernan - make some kind of cash and switch to Belly.... but oh no the Universe hates us.

And if Essendon somehow miraculously gets a not guilty, thats even worse imo. ASADA will appeal, and that could mean who knows what. arghhhhhh.


Have you looked at Max Gawn? In an improving Melbourne he won't set the world of fire but has potential. He is the only DPP I can think of that can be used for what you require. Played a match agains Hawks, round 20 I believe, that made me sit up and raise an eyebrow. Moved really well. And that was in a 60point loss. With better delivery in to the fwd line, could be on the up.

I've got Mummy, Maric (Downie) which is similar.

I don't want to fork out that much for Phillips either, but I feel like GWS ruck cover is a must if you're starting Mummy, or at least ruck cover in general (so even T-Nank or whoever else pops up). I've gone Downie because meow reckons (and I kinda agree) that if GWS was to play any of the 3 with Mummy, it would be Downie as he's pretty capable as a forward and can also do some ruck work, whereas Phillips is just more of a ruck.

I think I've made more than enough posts hyping Mummy, his potential and ability to produce scores that are just plain sexy.

Why?? When you can jump on him on the bubble in round 4-5? Or bring him in early if there is an injury. No point starting him if he's not there RD1

Save's a trade by starting him. And what if I need him in rd3 or 4 before he bubbles? Not going to throw my entire structure out the window just because he misses 2 games. Obviously if its longer that changes things
