And I'm not sure where this has come from, I'm pretty sure it's a closed tribunal, so unless you're one of the lawyers.....?

If it is a backdated suspension and similar to the NRL ones they will miss between the first 3 and 5 games of the season.

Yes, I understand, but we've known that suspensions could happen for years now. But saying that players are now looking more likely to be found guilty than before is interesting. Sounds like some serious inside word that Caro would be all over.

I think with all the Essendon cases and challenges being thrown out, the verdicts in the other code and the fact that the players were told if they played in the NAB the chances of backdated suspensions was 0 has clued us in. Add in the top up players, it is looking like there will be some form of a punishment/suspension

Hird losing doesn't make them any more guilty. What happened in a different code doesn't make them any more guilty - completely different substance at the centre of it anyway. Yes, playing the NAB would affect back-dated suspensions if found guilty. That's pretty common knowledge - doesn't make them any more guilty; no-one would be stupid to risk 2 practice games if there was even a 1% chance. Top up players are needed to avoid draft-pick sanctions for not playing said practice matches - doesn't make them any more guilty.

The only thing that will make them guilty is what's going on behind closed doors, which neither you or I or anybody else has a clue about.

Apart from some of the Essendon players have already admitted to using the substance in question. The chance that every one of those players gets off without a suspension is the same as me banging Kate Upton

Yes indeed and this year there are some tasty $250-300K in the backs instead of like some having 5 $400k + players that's where I'll cut  ;)

Please enlighten the whole FF community. The most popular bloke in that price is set to retire, and those lining up to replace him may struggle to hit 80ppg.

Bellchambers will go 80+ easily, and I have no idea why people are calling him a spud based on one injury-ruined year.

It is increasingly looking like there players will miss the start of the season

As far as enlightening the whole community no what I said was unlike some who are spending $400k + on D4 and 5 who might avg. 70 to 80 I will get a couple of cheaper players , who are they open your eyes they in the $250- 300k+ range and might avg. 70 to 80

And yes I am one of the lawyers  :P and they are flowered this is looking more predictable than most American TV series as the days pass just can't see the point of setting up your rucks and forwards around someone who is a very good chance not to be playing and if he does play good luck to all who pick him  ;)

Thymosin Beta-4 is the substance and the two players I know of are Watson who admitted to taking it on TV and Ryder since that was the reason he left Essendon

Watson admitted to taking "what he thought was" AOD9604. Not Thymosin Beta-4.

shower you're right, scrap that, I still think Ryder might be one though. Is that what they told him he may have taken that could have had an effect on the health of his baby or was that AOD?

Definitely not TB4. Bit of AOD, bit of "well were you guys even sure/what could have been" after putting his trust in them.

brudski

Just a thought. With everyone start bello in their forward line as ruck coverage and a risk on leuy is anyone starting bello in the rucks and using the 50k else where?
