So if you have the cash to go Goldy/Jacobs. They have player 87/88 games between them the last two years. I like those odds.

and 2 x 100+ players.

Fid

I can't see too many other options for around $303,000 that has the ability to score triple figures.

Bellchambers is a must get IMO

shaker

I'm just about sick of hearing about Bellchambers if he was such a good player he would have been in the side every week in the last years no matter about Ryder or any other tall the fact is he hasn't because of form and injury

He's a decent pick this year mate. You don't have to start him but others are and he's worth considering

If he continues with the same form as previous years Giles will quickly become the No1 ruck and Rico unless he had nothing to do with the Bombers drug saga it is increasingly looking like there players will miss the start of the season so can't understand why you would even have him on your radar ?

Really?
The only reason he has missed games in the past has been injury - he's currently getting through a preseason = tick
He's previously shared the ruck with Ryder - Ryder is gone, and even if Giles plays Bellchambers is a far better ruckman than him, so will get more time on the ball than previously = tick
Has proven he can go 80+ and 85+ = tick
Has a good HTA% so the new ruck rule won't destroy his scoring as much as other ruckmen = tick
Is underpriced at 300k = tick

Why wouldn't you consider him??

On the ASADA case. This thing has dragged out for years already, so until they officially get banned whats the point in worrying too much about it. Yes there are dates to have it finialised before the start of the season, but what if they get off. Or if they appeal and drag it out further.

Haha fair points but just don't rate him and think the drugs case will be settled and they will be guilty and would rather have someone like Swan or Martin at F4 than old smelly  :P

Well obviously everyone would prefer someone like Martin at F4 haha, but if you use the extra 200k or so there, you have to make cuts elsewhere ;)

Yes indeed and this year there are some tasty $250-300K in the backs instead of like some having 5 $400k + players that's where I'll cut  ;)

Fid

I have Bellchambers @ F5 and I am pretty sure that these "tasty" backs at a similar price have problems stringing games together unlike Bellchambers

Yeah,so far the only 2 hype playings i am buying into are Newnes & B.Smith because all the signs from their coaches/club statments/interviews ect point to them becoming midfielders

Please enlighten the whole FF community. The most popular bloke in that price is set to retire, and those lining up to replace him may struggle to hit 80ppg.

Bellchambers will go 80+ easily, and I have no idea why people are calling him a spud based on one injury-ruined year.

And I'm not sure where this has come from, I'm pretty sure it's a closed tribunal, so unless you're one of the lawyers.....?

If it is a backdated suspension and similar to the NRL ones they will miss between the first 3 and 5 games of the season.
