As far as bench cover goes, for those not using a Read/Cox type to loophole, Sammy Naismith has been elevated!

Might be hard for me to find the extra 40k, but if Naismith gets named tonight I will find the money for sure :)
I'm sticking with Downie for now, but yeah, I'll do what I can to him if need be.

Yeah im starting Goldy/Maric also with McLaren as R3 for loophole.

If Naismith scores are 60 or better and plays first 2 games ill bring him in and waste 1 trade..

Best of luck everyone

So feasibly how long could he last? My thinking on this is to pick Naismith and pick Krak as the loophole player. It actually works out better given Krak can also loophole the midfield and provide a handy forward link.

If you were going down this path, wouldn't it be better to pick Lambert as the loophole seeing he appears closer to a game than Krak does?

No because you can't VC/C loophole Lambert.

I think he prefers Krak as Port play more later games each week

Bully, I'd only pick Krak if there isn't enough cheap rookies named this week that you actually want in your side, and if you get Naismith and he gets named

So are you willing to start the season without a loophole option? That is what it boils down to if you select Naismith. The value of Krak could be massive as he can also loophole the forward line.

Krak wins hands down based on the draw, particularly if you have Gray as well, both can be swapped late in the game.

dosstheboss

Bellchambers named the sole ruckman..
Can we expect this most weeks or will Jon Giles be a regular?

xeno

will be taking bellchambers instead of goldstein. no way i'm splashing out on a set and forget duo in goldstein and maric if they are going to get shafted as much as maric did tonight. he was a lot better than the 82 they gave him tonight when he had 84% DE and 9 of his 13 possesions being contested.
