I just don't see how he'll possibly be able to play the same type of footy he was when he was young, in shape, and in a good team.

He played the last 7 games of last year and averaged 92. Cant see how all of a sudden he's a spud?

I never said he was a spud. A very solid player, but I can just see him playing team roles, being used as a lockdown when a key forward is on fire, helping the younger kids out, and having his gametime managed, too. There aren't an awful lot of cheap possessions at the Saints these days, and not a lot of them lead to score involvements.

His 92 mine average was great, but I don't see it spanning over 22 games.

I think the biggest team role he will play is being a leader down back. The up and coming kids need to take the key forwards so they can learn and develop. Fisher should be freed up more to be the general down back, and play the role he has been very good at for a very long period of time

I don't think his scoring is an issue at all. He will score well. It's all about his body, and that's where the risk is, and it's a risk I;m happy to take.

I understand peoples opposing views not being interested in him, and that's fine. We don't want to all have the same teams

PICCOLLO

Love him. Picked him back in 2011 when he played on the wing some weeks and smashed on tonnes.
Would love to get him again but hes old and had two years out playing golf.
I think he'll avg 90 this year but getting 18+ games out of him is unlikely.  High risk with little reward.

watch him during NAB is all you can do

Exactly. Read an article a few weeks ago about how good he is going and that he is finally over his injuries, so that's why I'm going with him

Strong pre-seasons always encourage me :)

It's been a couple of months now, is anyone still on this guy?

I am seriously considering him to free up cash to get better rookies

Haha Rico I still want Fisher in my team, but it's possible that I'll be only going with a 3 prem defence which means I cant get him  :'(

Wasn't it you that said he could be the next Viv or was that somebody else?

RaisyDaisy

I said that, but that's just a realistic statement

Don't have anything against him
