What % of ownership makes a player a POD ??

Just wondering what percentage of ownership qualifies a player as a POD ?? This information comes from SC Gold, by clicking on analyser and then coaches choice.
I'm counting anybody under 10% as POD's and amongst the hopeful keepers I have less than the 10% are :-
Lumumba 3.24
Mumford 3.3
Ward 3.41
Wines 3.92
Birchall 6.77
Is that too many POD's, just the right amount, or it doesn't matter a damn as long as they score well ??

With all the pods you have I don't think you need to worry as they will all score well but I wouldn't have too many of those guys that may spud it up.
Good to see Ward under 5% 8)

Agree with the others here ST - very interesting stats you have here though, you wouldn't mind doing a little check for me on some players though? Barlow, Sidebottom, Danger and Watson?

Yeah could you check Goldy/Nic Nat for me as I am wondering how popular they are outside of fan footy.

as long as these pods are well justified to be in your team its fine.

Lets put it this way, don't pick players because they are pods, pick players on how you think they will score and if they are a pod its a bonus.

100% spot on !! Very interesting that Barlow is so low, if I found the cash he would be my 6th mid. Not sure I could replace any of Gazza, Pendles, Jelwood, Ward or Wines. But if I did, and I do already have the cash, it would be Wines to Barlow and I am more than a little tempted. Cheers. :)

The current % in team stats are stuffed up because people have auto fill or not completed teams ATM.

Everyone will rise later on.

Don't take it into consideration when picking players though.

The only time I would look at it is if you have no idea which player to pick and one has 5% and the other has 20%

PODS ? players you have, and coaches you are competing with in your leagues don't. Thats the thing. Your gut choice against potential cookie cutter. But its only about your leagues, not total comp %. IMO ;)

A lot of very interesting comments and calculations. The reason I put this thread up for discussion is that I noticed last year that some players discussed on FF and were very popular in Rate my team were Not commonly picked outside this website. So I threw this in for fun to see how people would react and if it were pertinent to current ways of thinking. Not disappointed, thanks people. ;)

Rocky was the big one last year. Very popular here, but a lot of others missed the boat.
