Besides a miserable round 1 where I was 84k overall, I have moved into 16k with decent scores and I still cannot get a win in this league! :( Haha great league

The time has come for teams to either hold, or take a risk, what you decide could make or break our season overall and in leagues. With the lack of cheap reinforcements having a good plan going forward will be crucial in performing, something that the infamous invasion of Sark just didn’t have.

After an official warning last week, Cousins Coke n Ice pulled out a much improved performance, however it was not enough to knock off a very strong Corkascrew team.

The league overall is still sitting reasonably high in the overall at 209, a very good effort for the first edition of the competition. In Head to head Spinach has lepped clear on top, putting a games lead into all his rivals. There are 4 teams sitting just behind, with another 6 only 2 games back. It just shows how close this league is and that just making finals will be a good effort, a win in this league will be well deserved.
Overall points is starting to get a split that will be more difficult to make up. 1st to 7th is split by only 234 points, with a further 190 to 8th. Anyone coming from outside the top 7 from this point will need to have an amazing run home to make up the difference.

Engineticians vs Cousins Coke n Ice
A big Match of the round between the 2 teams who have yet to taste victory face off in a must win match. The loser will be resigned to a probable relegation, while the winner will gain a leg up and keep themselves in touch with some of the teams above.

Mountalizians F.C vs Fantasy Addicts
Mountalizians F.C host a resurgent Fantasy Addicts at the Den. After a few solid weeks from the Addicts will he be able to continue the good form and continue the rise up the ladder, while simultaneously continue the lions tumble down the mountainside.

Spinach vs Corkascrew
An unofficial match of the round  beig the top of the table clash. It’s like the clash of the titans, just with spinach and a corkscrew instead of, well, actual titans. Can the slow rotation of a corkascrew overcome the incredible power of a green vegetable.

Big Mac's Army vs Stubbsy’s Heroes
A mid table battle that is a must win for Stubbsy’s Heroes. A loss will cause a 2 game split from the top 8 and make it increasingly difficult to catch up over the coming weeks.

Frogjumper vs bicsbest
A big challenge this week for bicsbest, up against an inform Frogjumper. A big upset will need to occur to avoid dropping back from the mid table pack.

TailsPower vs WingardiumLobbeosa
After a great start to the year tailspower is going going …., will it be down or will the slide be reversed. A very tough match that is very difficult to predict.

Tiger of Old vs Terrifying Glue
Tigers of old bounced back last week to continue punching above his points ranking. Terrifying glue had a difficult loss after a solid 2143 last week, and is out looking for revenge.

FC HAWKSTOWE vs Dos' Destroyers
In what has been a horrid run for FC Hawkstone a loss with the equal 3rd best score last week is like rubbing salt into an already gapping wound. Currently only hanging onto the top 8 by % he is looking for a big win over Dos Destroyers to cement himself in the top 8.

$Blues vs TRIPLE X
A big midtable match this week with 2 teams that are separated by only 31 points. Triple X will not want to lose and fall 2 games behind the top 8.

Who will be howling come the end of the weekend? Time to make your own luck.

An interesting fact is that wolves will use echoing to their advantage at times, often as a defense mechanism. In this case, they will howl in wavering or modulated tones, rapidly changing the pitch. They use this trick to make neighboring packs, or anything else nearby they perceive as a threat, think there are more of them than there are. In this case, a few wolves in a small pack will howl all at the same time changing pitches very rapidly. This, combined with potential reverberation, will often make an enemy think there are more of them and, with any echoes, often that there are wolves all around.

Bye rounds. If you are doing well it is all about consolidation, if you are behind this is your best chance to catch up. Whatever your decision on team lineups, expect a weekend of no sleep, lots of headaches & excessive amounts of coffee. After the week is over 8 people will be able to sleep comfortably, while the other 8 will be wondering what they can do to reverse the trend in the dreaded Round 12.

The league overall is still in quite a good position, ranking 201 in the nation. Let see if we can get this back into the top 200 this week and top 150 over the bye period. In Head to head Spinach held his one game lead over Mountalizians F.C., but is now 3 games clear of 5th place. After this though the league gets very tight with 1 game between 5th and 14th. Engineticians is still rooted to the bottom of the ladder without a win. Its moving round in overall points, will the gap open up or close with 1000 points between 1st and 16th
